Christmas In July!

Hello There!

It's Tuesday which means it's time for a new challenge over at the wonderful Digi Choosday Crafting Challenge Site . We as design team members were asked to think about Christmas but for you guys it's still an anything goes challenge.  Whilst your over there checking out my team mates wonderful creations do take note of the terrific discount code that is available for you to use instore.

Here is my card for today and it is made purely from the amazing Winnie-winterland-big-kahuna-digital-download kit . I tell you there is so much amazing stuff on there I dare you not to be blown away by it all.

The only thing I added to this bright white 6x6 card is plain blue card, the bobble and a touch of glitter pen.
I decided to keep it easy for this card showcasing the papers, sentiments and wonderful images. I resized the two trees and cut them out. The boarder strip at the top is off the sheet of buttons which I have tucked under the card after cutting one out and putting it on the envelope ready. The right hand tree has been raised and shaped with Pinflair.

I’m joining in at the following challenges

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can leave a word or two.

3 Today.

Hello,

Here we are again it's the 15th so time to share my reminder post for this months Bestie International
challenge. We have a theme running but we are also a ATG challenge.

This is a large 7x7 card for my friend to give her Granddaughter who will be 3 soon. I chose to use this darling image
which I coloured in using my Promarker pens.
I cut her "out" of the Spellbinder Die and matted her on to pink card. I made a frame using another die with a postage stamp edge from mellow yellow card. The paper underneath I stamped balloon's and hearts using three different inks.
I cut out several balloons and dotted them under the heart and the main image. The BIG bow I added and finished with a pink heart button. A few pearls added to the bottom and we are done.

Thanks again for stopping by and if you haven't yet come on over and join in the fun.

Splash of Colour.

Hi,

Today I'd like to share a card I made for a friend to give her niece.  I have chosen to use this pretty splash-of-summer-posy-paper-kit by Polkadoodles
You get 24 sheets of toppers and 24 sheets of patterned papers so there is lots to play with.

This is a big A5 card and in my haste to post I've chopped the top off!! The only thing I've added here is some deep purple card and glitter. You get 4 of each topper sheet so I was able to fussy cut one to add flowers to the edge. I cut a few butterfly's out and dotted them about along with some dots of glitter glue. The card is bright white and I did a little wiggly line around the edges to bring it all together.

Hello!

Well  HELLO to you all,

Today is a new beginning for me and an exciting one too. I am pleased to say that I have now become a permanent design team member for the DigiChoosday Crafting Challenge Blog . I have to say I am chuffed to bits to be part of this super team.

Today is the beginning of a new anything goes challenge but as DT's we were asked to make something which included wings. So what better than a butterfly! I love them and try my best to add them where I can.

Hopefully when you see my next post I will have my own watermark and banner, but no worries if it takes longer as Nikky is very busy right now preparing to bring us all more beautiful things to play with.

For this challenge I used a "long ago purchased" MDF butterfly shape which I have covered using a paper from the wonderful splash-of-summer-posy-doodles-paper-kit which is still available at this time in store. I then took some flowers and leaves from believe it or not Winnie-winterland-big-kahuna-digital-craft-download-bundle there are so pretty and depending on how you layer them they don't shout Christmas. There is so much in this kit I don't think I could ever use it all up in one Christmas. It's well worth taking a look at the big kits as they are such great value. The sentiment is from Winnie-celebrations-2-sentiment kit there are so many great ones in there. To finish off I added the zesty lime ribbon as a hanger which I added another little butterfly charm to, some black gems to the flower centers and a few dots of glitter glue.

I was really pleased with the outcome, maybe now I'll use a few other hidden MDF items lol.

I do hope you will link up your own creation as there is always a winner and DT favorites who all win a great prize. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you again soon.

Under the Sea!

Hello,
It's time to share another card for the challenge just starting over at Besties International challenge blogspot we are a anything goes challenge but for those who like one we have a theme and this month it is "under the sea".

Today I have made a easel card using this wonderful image from Sherri called My Besties Enchanted Magical Unicorn which I have coloured in using my Promarker pens.
The tent part I have covered in these fabulous new papers from Nikky over at Polkadoodles.co.uk called splash-of-summer-posy-doodles-paper kit  It is full of wonderful bright summer colours in both the papers and the toppers that are included in the kit.

I cut her out and matted her on to a yellow mat. I cut out several spare flowers and dotted them about as well as a couple of ferns with I stamped on to white vellum.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can come on over and join in with us all.

I'm sharing today here at Crafteezee-shop-Summer challenge

Enchanting Butterflies

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you my card made for this times challenge over at lilpatchofcraftyfriends.  We are a "anything goes" challenge and this time we have a exclusive sponsor who is Paper Shelter and I am using this beautiful Enchanting Butterflies by thepapershelter.com  to make it.

Today I decided to make a shaped card and for this I broke out my Cricut machine! I used this petrol blue card I found in my stash that so happened to match the butterfly wings in the image. The image is a pre-coloured one but you also get the black and white version for you to colour in too. There are sooo many beautiful images to choose from in the store.
I then took my stitched circle die and cut out a pretty pink plaid paper and then a lemon scalloped circle for her to sit upon. I used the same 3 colours to make the mounts for the sentiment which is by Verve Stamps (afraid to say they are closing down) The banner is also from the same set of Verve stamps. I added flower gems and leaves to finish off.
I printed out the image twice so I was able to cut out extra butterflies which I dotted about.

Thanks for stopping by today, if you like what you see maybe you'd leave a word or two.
