Challenge 141 on My Shei Crafts

Hello,
long time no blog!! This week over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is Sarah's turn to choose the challenge and she has asked us all to make a project to celebrate September the month of the piano or if not that atleast to have something musical on it.

As you can see no piano but I do have a music sheet and a cute carol singer,

This card is a 6x6 in kraft. I used a stamp which came free with a magazine last month by "Tiddly Inks" there were 5 stamps and a small embossing folder in the give away.

I used up some scraps on this card too, the music sheet is off a bit I couldn't throw away by Graphic 45 and the damask paper is a tiny bit left aswell. The snowflakes are cut from the music paper and gold paper with a small black pearl added. I coloured her in using my Promarkers.

Thanks for stopping by today, see what the other girls have made (some stunners) and then link up your own design.

Angels Week

Hello there,
This time over at www.myshericraft.blogspot.com it is Peachy's turn to choose and she has picked "Be an angel day" on 22 August. So for this one she would like us to have an angel on your card or project.

Here is my card

I chose this sweet "Bestie" Christmas Angel. I picked a 6x6 pearl card blank then added a sheet of striped paper. The strip down the front is a small bit I couldn't throw out from 2005 by Basic Grey. I used a SB die to cut out the snowflakes and stars. The sentiment is a stamp but who from ?! I can't remember sorry.
I coloured her in using my Promarker Pens. Everything from the Basic Grey is lifted using foam pads. Oh I also used Copics on her hair to try and make it more life like.

Now it's your turn to add your lovely to the challenge.

Onesie Time Challenge 139

Hello There,

Over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com this week it is my best friend Sandy's turn to pick the fun challenge and as she loves to make non traditional shaped cards that is what she has chosen for all of us to play along with. Make a card without the normal straight edges.

I have been looking at these cute little cards on quite a few sites and thought I'd give one a go. I needed to make a baby card for my friend who's daughter just had her second baby girl and thought I'd make one for Nana and Grandad too.

Here is the smaller version for Nana

The first card is made from a matt card blank and the second one is made from pearl card. Both have been run through a embossing folder and then I added the pink gingham paper cuffs which were added using pop dots then I added liquid pearls.

Thanks for stopping by today, now you give it a try.
