Sew glad you are my friend

Well here is another ATC for you to take a peek at.
This week over at www.mypapercrafting.com they are continuing with their Tags or ATC challenge. Please pop over there to see what else has been made to inspire you in to linking up your own creation. There is a prize on a monthly basis so it is worth giving it a go.

This again is the normal size of 2 1/2 by 3 1/2. I stamped using my Grandmas Attic JustRite background stamp, I stitched along one edge and ran the twine around the other but first passing it through the button. I also added some gold flakes to a thread on the stamp but afraid the flash has bounced off it. I printed out the sentiment and made a little flag and to finish off I added a button brad to the top of the spool.
Thanks again for looking.

Mothers Day 2013

Well here is a peek at my Mothers Day card for my own Mum.
The card is a A5 (6x8) tent fold in kraft card. I used my Cricut Paper Lace to cut the doily shape @ 4 1/2 and DonJuan to cut Mum and shadow along with the hearts.
Lace and ribbon is from my stash as is the stick pin. To finish I used a few pearls and gems.

Thanks for stopping by.

Smile

I am entering this layout over at www.merlyimpressions.co.uk/blog/scrapbooking/february-2013-layout-challenge/ it is using a photo of my darling Mum and Dad taken a while ago. It makes me smile as this is my Dad taking a photo of the two of them at arms length which in its self is funny as he nearly always would chop your head off.
I used the sketch provided by Emilie for this months challenge

I used Loire Valley Collection from Kaisercraft at wwwmerlyimpressions.co.uk I chose Osmunda and Celandine (what fab names) I also used plain cardstock from them too.
Inks were black soot and fired brick by Tim Holtz
Spellbinders dies were Ovals and Blossom 5
Cricut cartridge was "walk in my garden" for the smile cut at 1 3/4 and shadow
Creative Imaginations bare elements for the gloss dome.

Here is a slightly closer look at the photo.

Thanks for looking

ATC time again

Well Hello again,
Sorry it has been a while since I have been on with something but I have been away looking after my Mum who is much better now thankfully, so now I can get back to a bit of crafting.

This week over at www.mypapercrafting.com they are starting a new challenge and it is called " Totally Tags & ATC's This week the challenge is to use ribbon somewhere. I caught a show a wee while back called "Boogie Nights" full of 70's music and I guess this must have been why I chose the old "Dawn" song.
For those who are unfamiliar a ATC (artist trading card) is a little work of art no larger that 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch in size.
On this I stamped the Kaisercraft bark stamp on to white card and then used Tim Holtz burlap ink pad to colour in. I tied the ribbon around and matted it on to a correct size brown card. I added the brad and then the stamp and then using the alpha tiles by Kaisercraft I made the title. Hope you like it and will join in with the fun.

Bee Mine Anytime

Well It's Friday again and today I have another Digi from www.mypapercrafting.com to share with you.
On this card I used this cute bee holding the heart design. The card is a 5x7 and I coloured the image in using my Promarkers.

I cut the small heart using my Cricut machine and hand cut the banner after stamping my sentiment.
Now why not post your own card on the link if you have used a digi as you may win a prize or better still if you use a MPC image you could win a guest designer spot.
Thanks for looking in.
