#176 Lovely Lace

Hi, over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is the newest design team members turn to choose the theme for us and it is one of her favourite things to use on a project.  So it was no surprise to see Kristi had chosen for us to use a little touch of lace.

I have to say I too am a lover of lace and ribbon on my projects. Here is my card for this challenge.

I have chosen to make a 7x7 card and using papers from Kaisercraft's Treasured Moments collection which I had left over from a layout at our last crop held by Chrissy of www.merlyimpressions.co.uk the papers are devine and very feminine. I embossed the reverse side of "Gazette" for the base layer  and inked with worn lipstick. Then mounted up a distressed reverse side of "Recollections " but not before adding this lovely white lace. Then taking a card topper from the 'Nostalgia " sheet (these can be very useful) I mounted that on green to pop it forward. I added some soft pink pearls and a sentiment which I printed. There is a touch of clear glitter pen used along with a couple of butterflies I managed to cut from other sections on the page.

This card was made for an order, I hope the recipient liked it as much as I loved making it.

Now it's your turn to join in with us, so come on and grab your lace box and share a beauty with us.

#175 Bold One Colour

Hi,
Well it is my turn to choose the theme to play along to this fortnight over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com and so I have chosen for us all to make a "bold one colour" card.

I like the way you can play around with the colour using the different hues.
Here is my card and for this I have chosen to use Verve stamps and dies along with distress inks in mustard and marigold. I added a few sequins and gems after embossing with white powder.

Now its your turn to give it a go. Join in and you could be our Guest Designer next time around.
