Magic of the season.

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you another card I have made for Christmas.

Again I am following themes running over at Jinglebellesrock.blogspot.  This one is using Christmas Long Ago and Music.
The Bell shape is a Dutch Doobadoo which I cut out in cream and covered with a Kaisercraft paper (which has sheet music printed on it but it may be covered up!). Then I added lace and 2 sheer ribbon bows 1 in green the other in sparkle white. The image & sentiment are also from Kaisercraft & I matted those on to a scrap of Graphic45 paper. I added 2 poinsettia flowers and 2 berries along with a Joy metal label which I've had for years.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Jingle 5 Ways!

Hello There!

Today I'd like to share with you all a Christmas Card, yes I've made one before July (which is a first in itself). I am determined this year to try to make quite a few before November!

So here it is.
I decided to make a shaped card today (something a little different to stand amongst the rest) and as I follow the girls over at Jinglebellesrock.blogspot and they are already 7 challenges in to the new year I thought it was time to "shake a leg" and join in. So this card I think includes 5 of the challenges including the on-going one.
1. New- the star die I have used.
2. 3 of something
3. Text- the background paper has been run through a embossing folder with various fonts reading Happy/Merry Christmas
4. Music
5. Old fashioned/days gone by feel.

I hope you like this as much as I did making it.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello

Hello!

Well I was hoping to say "spring is here" but alas all it's done today is rain! It is so disappointing.

So not to dwell on matters I have another Easter card to share with you all. This one uses yet again a pre-coloured image which comes on a sheet of 6. I picked it up in store a few weeks back. I like having them in as they allow you to spend time on the card making instead of the colouring which is good for us all.

This card uses several layers of a Dutch Doobadoo which I purchased here at Crafteezee.co.uk  The papers were bought there too and they are from the 6x6 paper pad called Mintay-Birdsong . I chose a few papers from my stash which matched the image and cut out a Scalloped Boarder Die By Verve, some leaves and a couple of flowers. The image is mounted on golden yellow card using a scalloped Spellbinder die.
To finish off I used a new die I picked up by Lawn Fawn. A few pale blue pearls and the hearts out of the banner dotted about and we are finished.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Speedy Recovery!

Hi,

I thought I'd share this card I made for a friend who has been poorly.

It uses zesty lime green cardstock with some "old gold "spot paper by Kaisercraft. The sentiment is by Verve and I've added flowers from my stash along with leaves cut from green card and the addition of a few gems and dots of perfect pearls.
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Crafting!

Sweet Treat Bunny

Hello,
Well it's time to share my second post of the day for the current challenge over at Bestieschallenge.blogspot . This time I have made a topper for a Easter "sweet treat" using the cute Bestie Bunny in a Egg. Scan0023

It's quite simply but I needed a couple of gifts for little ones and these tiny eggs were perfect to fit in my holder tubes but the tops looked plain. So I made a tent fold topper out of purple cardstock and cut a hole for the tube to fit in (sorry it's a bit squiffy on top there!)
Then after colouring in the image with my Promarkers I matted her on to gold glitter card using my deckle edge scissors I trimmed it up and added her to the front.

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you get to join in with us.

Sue,

Bunny Ears

Hello,

Today is reminder time over at Bestieschallenge.blogspot.  and because it's nearly Easter I've chosen a themed image for today's card. I will be posting again a bit later so I hope you can come back.

The image I have used for this easel card is img910_2 it is this cute little girl with long bunny ears caring her own bunny. I have coloured her in using my Promarker pens but not her face! that was coloured in using my new Copic pens sent to me by my own Bestie Sandy. So hopefully now my skin/face will be more realistic.

The card is a 5x7 in size. I've curved the front edge using the size up from the stitched cut carrot paper. The green is the opposite side to the carrot paper and the cross hatch paper is a Easter paper too. I added 3 buttons to tie in the image. The flowers are paper on the card front and fabric on the base. I also added a couple of straws, leaves and a heart "hatpin" (on the base behind the small flower) along with a few tiny pearls.
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you a little later for my next make.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges Noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk-march-challenge-spring.

Well "chick" Happy Easter!

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I have made for Easter,

This gorgeous little image I picked up last month in store, it is a ready coloured- in image (saves time when its short!) which I re-cut using my stitched die to fit the lovely Joycraft die.
I made the card shape using my Dutch-Doobadoo-Shape Art Stencil which I trimmed off the bottom. To that I added some pink paper after embossing it. Then using both sides of a double sided Easter paper I cut out Wavy Hearts by Verve, balloons, a banner & sprightly Sprigs along with a few stars and a tag from my Mintay-Birdsong-6x6-Paper-Pad .
To finish I added a few fabric flowers 2 small roses and one from Rose-Ribbon-with-Pearl. There was a little space at the bottom so I added my "word" of the moment chick using my new favorite Scrabble-Stamp-Die-Set.
I'd like to share in other challenges,

Happy Easter!

Good Morning!

I'm happy to say it's time to start a new challenge over at lilpatchofcraftyfriends.blogspot.  As always we are a 'anything goes' challenge.

This time we have a exclusive sponsored by the lovely team at fredshesaid and I have chosen to use this lovely Tea Cup Pansie Digi  which I have coloured in using my alcohol pens and my newest gift from my BFF some pencils too.

I have made a 6x6 card blank out of some designer cardstock in lavender with a darker vine running over it. Then using the colours in the flowers I cut out 4 corners and a scalloped circle in dark orange and a bright white doily.
I added some gems and a Happy Easter text and we are good to post.

Please pop over to see what everyone else has made (some stunners as always) and then link up your own make you could win a $10 gift voucher to spend in store.

I'd like to join in with other challenges

Big Hat Besties

Hello,
Well it's time to start the month with a new challenge over at bestieschallenge.blogspot. As always we are "anything goes" but we do also have a theme to play along to too and this month it's a good one " girls with big hats or hair pretties" as Bestie fans we will all have one if not more that fill that brief.

Here is what I have come up with today,

I have made this 5x7 birthday card using this gorgeous Fancy Pants Little Pixie with new boots. I have coloured her in using my alcohol pens and then cut her out using a Spellbinder Die.
I've used a sheet of paper I was given which has the lace & butterfly printed on it. Then matching up a couple of other papers from my stash after stitching around the edges I put them down at angles and placed her on top.
I have added a wooden butterfly (once I coloured it )to one corner and a sheer pale green ribbon with metal button to the other. The happy birthday sentiment is from a stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today, please join in with the fun as you could win some super digis.

I'd like to join in the following challenges,
