Baby It's Cold Out There!

Here is the card I made for our reminder post on the challenge over at Besties International challenge
We are as always  anything goes but we also have a theme should you wish to join in with that and this month it is Baby It's Cold. If your a winner (and we have some great images to choose from) you could also be our Guest Designer soon.
For this card I used img 180 and I coloured her in using Promarker pens.

Here is a view of the side, showing the green flag boarder cut to match the colour of her Ski Jacket.

I cut the front a little shorter to show the green flag boarder. I also wanted to use my new die from Crafters Companion (I have to say this took several attempts but very happy when it finally worked). To hide the join of the blue paper I added satin ribbon. I used a Spellbinder die as the main mat then cut a pale blue one and then added her on to that fussy cutting around her ski's and bobble.
I used a couple of Tim Holtz splat dies in the same card stock as the card including a few break away drops. a couple more white snow flakes and a few baby blue pearls and we are finished.
I do hope you can join in with us, see what the rest of the design team have made also. As always they are great.

I will be joining in with some other challenges too....

A Little Bird Told Me!

Hello There.

Well today being Sunday it's time to share with you all my card for the new challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends .
Peppercus Etsy Shop

We have a great sponsor this time around peppercus-design.de  and they are giving away 3 digi images to the winner.

I chose this cute little Owl with balloon it comes black and white ready for you to colour as well as pre-coloured too. As I was making this card close to Christmas I chose to use the beautiful coloured image for speed.

I made the card blank out of pale turquoise bling cardstock and picked out a selection of papers matching the colours used on the image. The sentiments are from two different companies one is Kaisercraft and the other I can't remember infact it could have been in a magazine! A couple of pearls and we were finished. Pre-coloured images are a bonus, if your stuck for time they can give you a head start.

Thanks for stopping by today, pop over and check out the other DT makes and then join us.

For the Mr & Mrs...

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you all a card I made for a friend of my husband who was getting married. I've used this lovely precoloured image I picked up at the store a while back. I cut it out using my stitched die and then gathered all my other ingredients which had a soft green to them as well as white.

I decided to cut away some of the front to make the image float. I covered 5inch square in wedding paper from my stash and matted that on to some long forgotten sage green vellum. I added a soft green doily tucking under some deep white lace. I added the image on to that and then added a daisy flower from crafteezee.UK I made a couple from paper beside it and cut out a few leaves in vellum.

The sentiment is by Verve from their Love Everlasting set which is one of my favorites. I placed a couple more open leaves under it. I dotted a few sequins and pearls about the card and we were done. I should add this card is a 7x7 bright white and I stamped some random hearts using the same stamp set as above and tied a piece of shere soft green ribbon around it.

And here is a side view

Thanks for stopping by today, I'd love to hear what you think.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges...

Happy New Year!

Hello,

Firstly I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year! Lets hope 2018 is a great one for us all. Have you made any resolutions? I have and just the one, to be more proactive on my blog!

Today being the 1st of the month means it's the start of a new challenge over at Besties International . As always a "anything goes" one and as always we have a theme too. This month it is Baby it's Cold Outside. We have some great images to be won, so I do hope you will come on over and join in.

Here is the card I made. I know it's not a wintery theme but I wanted to make a New Years card first so my "chilly" card will be aired on the 15th which is our reminder date.

For this card I have chosen to use  "peace, love and Joy" image found here mybestiesshop.com I knew I wanted a pink and black theme to my card so I set to finding just the right papers and then I coloured her in using my trusty Promarker pens.
I do hope you can come and join in with us this time around.

I'm entering a few challenges with this card..
