Bunny Love.

 Hello,

Today I am here on The Mad Scrapper Blog with this fun Valentines layout using a photograph found online.

I thought I'd make a new layout for my February calendar page but didn't have a suitable photograph so I searched Pinterest and this bunny photo called to me, aren't they adorable?
A full list of supplies can be found below but the paper is from Maja Designs as are most of the snippets. After trimming the manufacturer strip off I took the photo and marked out where I wanted to place it then I added the paste which I had added red paint to through it in the top right and bottom left of the marked out area. Then I took the red cardstock and cut out the hearts and using my snippets which all come from Janine I cut out a slightly smaller heart.

Getting out my sewing machine I placed the hearts in lines and stitched down the centre but I didn't waste time adding them under where the photo would go. I lifted up the edges of the smaller hearts for dimension

After adding a black matt to the photo I put foam strips underneath to enable me to tuck my flowers in. I decided to do something different and not (quite) add my clusters to the corners but slightly off.

Janine has soooo many different flowers in different colours and sizes you are bound to find some to match your project. Both of the leaves have come from her so you may have the same in your stash.

I added some gems around the page along with these tiny strawberry slices which I thought went well with the paper I have used on some of the hearts.

Over on the bottom left I added a little more of the pink paste through the stencil to bring it all together.

Thanks for stopping by today, if you need extra supplies drop in and see Janine or go The Mad Scrapper  and look whilst sipping a nice cuppa.

Sue.

Happy Times

 Hello,

Today I am sharing a layout I have made for The Mad Scrapper Blog using products purchased from Janine over the last year. You may still have some of these goodies within your stash or similar items. I know if you are anything like me I occasionally purchase 2 sheets of special papers one to use and one to stroke lol. Well my selection of papers for that second group is getting a bit large so I dived in to use some on this layout of my sisters granddaughter. A list can be found below.

I received these 3 photos of them making cup cakes and she loves to lick the spoon so I knew I wanted to use them close together and I found in my stash this pack of mixed frames by Simple Stories so I decided to use that. I had one sheet of the Pink Fresh Studio striped paper which I thought went well with all the colours in the photographs so I pulled that out to use and then I found these citrus fruits and flowers from Cocoa Vanilla Studios which I had fussy cut when they were released and kept them safe.

For the main photo I made my own frame using the die set from Pink Fresh and I layered 2 together for some dimension

So I trimmed the paper to 11.5 and added it to a sheet of white to mimic the thin stripes on the paper. I placed the 3 photos down with foam strips behind again for dimensions, I didn't have it edge to edge to allow me to tuck the elements behind.

I chose my title from the Gold Foil Titles by Cocoa Vanilla and I added foam below the Happy but not the times.

Here is the yellow frame just slightly tucked underneath the double frame, you can see all the flowers and fruit tucked around.

Here you can see where I put my journaling and also 2 of the 4 little cupcakes I stamped & cut out using a set from my own stash I thought it tied it all together.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to bring out a few of those special papers to play with. As I mentioned some of these items are older and may not be still in stock but I am sure if you went in to see Janine she could show you lots of other beauties or go to  The Mad Scrapper  and look at your pleasure with a cup of coffee.

Easter Card

Hello,
today I'd like to share a cute (I think) Easter card I recently made using Pinkfresh stamps, stencils and dies I bought at the craft show.

I love this Twist Pattern die which I cut 3 times and stacked them up for dimension. As you can see I used the same colour cardstock for the card base to the die.
Then I took the Cheerful Blossoms set and using my inks I coloured the blooms in spring like colours and then the leaves.
I stamped my sentiment and added that and then arranged the flowers around it. To finish off I added some flat sequins and we were done.

Thanks for stopping by today

Sue.
