December Viva La Verve

Hello There,
Today I thought I'd join in with this months Viva La Verve challenge. Using Juliee's sketches and one page wonder design I made this collection of Thank You cards to give out for Christmas gifts this year.

All cards are 5x5 and use up papers from a free pad I picked up with a magazine earlier this year.

I know I could have entered them individually but just wanted to join in and thought one hit would be enough this time around.

Thanks for looking in today.

Vellum Vision

Hi,
Today I decided to share a card I made to join in with a challenge over at www.vervestamps.blogspot.com This time the Diva Dare is to use vellum somewhere on your card and to include one of their stamps too.

Here is my card which I made using 3 scraps of vellum I found in my Christmas stash box, I have had these 2 patterned pieces for years but just couldn't throw them out...you all know how that goes right!

The card is a 5x7 which I added a sheet of blue snowflake paper to, then I matted both vellum papers on white so you could see them. The snowflake die from Spellbinders is using another plane sheet of vellum along with white, blue and silver mirri. I added some blue sequins to the mix and 4 brads.

I decided to hang the sentiment off the card which is from "O Christmas Tree" set. In the next photo you can see the dimension to the card. Goodness knows how this will fare in the post!!

I am also sharing this card on the www.lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Oh Christmas Tree....challenge 147

Hi,
Today it's my turn to choose the theme this time around over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com and I've come up with this. Make a card or project but it must have a Christmas Tree on it somewhere.

There couldn't be easier at this time of the year. Remember you can add up to 3 items per challenge so lets make this one a blast.

Here is my first of two cards which have Christmas trees on them.

This is a 7x7 card using a kraft cardblank. I chose to use the image off a Graphic 45 sheet of Christmas toppers I bought last year. I picked out the peach of the girls dress and then a frosty blue from the image to use as my mats. I mounted the image on dark red glitter card which linked in the ribbon and the strip of paper I embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment on (that was a freebie) I also rubbed over it with some gilding wax. The two smaller sentiments are Verve Stamps from their O Christmas Tree set.

Now this second card is one from a kit I picked up free in a magazine. The background papers were included as well as the toppers and sentiment discs. With this I just added ribbon and the strip of red with the stars punched out.

Hope you can join in this time around as it is the last of the year. Thanks for popping in.

Verve's Naturally Navy Challenge

Hi,
Today I decided to join in with the Naturally Navy challenge over at http://vervestamps.blogspot.com
I have been watching and enjoying all the cards the Design Team have been posting for a few months now and thought "well it's time to join in" so here I go.

This is a wedding card I have made to take along tonight to the reception (talk about last minute Charlie!) of a work colleague of my husband. Their colour is navy so there you go.

I have made a 7x7 cream card blank added Blue Awning paper after it went through a embossing folder. The stamp is Heart Wreath by Chloe and embossed with WOW diamond white. I added some perfect pearls to it too. This was then matted several times. I added a crushed navy bow with some twigs in silver mirri and a gem. The sentiment stamps are from the Wishing You set and they too are on silver mirri.

Thanks for stopping by.

challenge 146 Turkey Time

Hi,
My good friend Sandy picked this challenge for us over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com For this time around we have to make a card or project with a turkey on it somewhere. This should be fun as there are quite a few images out there, I know cause I've been looking lol.
I have made two cards for this challenge and instead of it being a Thanksgiving card (which we don't celebrate over here in the UK) they are Christmas cards. They have a nostalgic feel to them as I am using images from a search on vintage Christmas Turkey Dinner I made on the web.

I have used up papers from Kaisercraft along with other from my stash. Added ribbon, doily and buttons to lift them. I also embossed the background paper on each too.

Now please pop over to see what the others have made and then have ago yourself.

Halloween Time Challenge 145.

Hi There,
over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is design team sister Peachy's turn to choose the challenge and this time around she has picked "black magic" no I don't mean the box of chocolates either lol. We have to produce a card or project with a Halloween theme.

Now this is a first for me, I have made a 8 sided cup filled with a sachet of hot chocolate, a bag of chocolate shapes and a stirrer with a happy balloon flying witch. Now truth be known I saw this on the TV and just had to have a go at one.

I used heavy black card as the cup but added Kaisercraft 13th hour paper which I inked. The base is made up with a burnt orange paper and yet more black. I used my Cricut to cut the Boo and SB dies to cut the top of the stirrer. The bag of sweets are from Marks and Spencers and came with a plastic spider. I also added a hot chocolate drink to the cup too. The handle is strong enough to lift the cup up totally filled.
Now its your turn to give it ago, show us what you have come up with for Halloween.

Happy Crafting

DH thinks this photo is more atmospheric, what do you think?

Autumn Abundance Challenge 144

Hello,
This time around over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it's Marge's turn to choose the challenge and its another great one. This time around you have to make a card/project using "Fall" items we see everywhere right now. Things such as leaves, acorns, fruits of the season, pumpkins etc.

I decided to make a card this time around using a sentiment stamp as the focal point and added lots of leaves around it.

The card is 6x6 and a placed a sheet of paper I have had in my stash for ages, its from a paper pack and I made the strip and the mats for the sentiments from little bits I had left over from the pack. The leaves have been stamped with various sets I have then hand cut. All have been raised on Pinflare glue.

Now pop over if you haven't already to see what the other girls have made then link up your own project with us.

Mum's Birthday Card

Here is another card made using the sweet bunting banner my good friend sent me for my birthday. This time I used it on a card to celibrate my Mum's birthday yesterday.

I made a 6x6 card blank and using all papers from Kaisercraft and this lovely P.G. tip Bestie I created this card. My mum is what we call a "tea belly" hardly ever drinks coffee and almost always has to be her favorite tea "P.G.Tips.
I trimmed up a little off the side of the card to add the stripe paper, the flowers on the bottom left are raised up on foam dots over the top of the same flat paper. I ran the top left and bottom right through an embossing folder and inked with marmalade.
Hope you like it.

Bunting and Banners...143

Hello there,
Today over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it's owner sheri's turn to choose the challenge and she's picked a " good un" as we say. It's to use either a banner or bunting on your card or project. Now this will be fun to see all your entries. There are so many dies out there so let's see how many different ones you use.

Here is my card it has been made for Big Sister Beverley who celebrated a couple of days ago. Her and her hubby have purchased one of those coffee pod machines that a certain Mr Clooney advertises and she loves it ☺️😍. So when I saw this cute little digi over on the Bestie site I had to buy it. I know so many people who love a coffee just a shame there isn't a guy one out there as my better half is addicted too.

The card I made is a 7 x 7, I coloured her in using a lot of muted coloured Promarker pens with the papers in mind. I have used my Verve stamps on here to make the Java strip, sentiment and their die to cut the cup out. I even used the wet cup stain to make the background paper and then inked the edges. The banner was a birthday gift from my dear friend and I cut it out twice to insert the blue. Others dies from Spellbinders have been used too.

This card is using banners. I needed a simple girly birthday card so for this I used some free papers along with some gems. The sentiment is the free stamp that came with the papers. I made the flower using a SB die.

Right now it's your turn to join in, so pop over to see the other girls makes and then post your creation .

Challenge 142 Birthday Bash

Hi There,
this time over on www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is Design Team Sister Raquel's turn to pick the challenge and this time she has chosen Birthday's . We must include elements to do with Birthdays.

This time I decided to do a layout of my Dad's 80th Birthday. We all went up there and took afternoon tea with him and my Mum in a lovely old hotel on the promenade in Llandudno.

He use to drive buses for a living so his birthday cake was just like one. He also in his youth played cricket hence the umpire and the "80 Not Out" but his one other love (other than my Mum) was his garden.

On the layout I have used lots of bits and bobs and I think he'll love it when he sees it.

Right now its your turn to join in, but do checkout the other girls birthday treats.

Challenge 141 on My Shei Crafts

Hello,
long time no blog!! This week over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is Sarah's turn to choose the challenge and she has asked us all to make a project to celebrate September the month of the piano or if not that atleast to have something musical on it.

As you can see no piano but I do have a music sheet and a cute carol singer,

This card is a 6x6 in kraft. I used a stamp which came free with a magazine last month by "Tiddly Inks" there were 5 stamps and a small embossing folder in the give away.

I used up some scraps on this card too, the music sheet is off a bit I couldn't throw away by Graphic 45 and the damask paper is a tiny bit left aswell. The snowflakes are cut from the music paper and gold paper with a small black pearl added. I coloured her in using my Promarkers.

Thanks for stopping by today, see what the other girls have made (some stunners) and then link up your own design.

Angels Week

Hello there,
This time over at www.myshericraft.blogspot.com it is Peachy's turn to choose and she has picked "Be an angel day" on 22 August. So for this one she would like us to have an angel on your card or project.

Here is my card

I chose this sweet "Bestie" Christmas Angel. I picked a 6x6 pearl card blank then added a sheet of striped paper. The strip down the front is a small bit I couldn't throw out from 2005 by Basic Grey. I used a SB die to cut out the snowflakes and stars. The sentiment is a stamp but who from ?! I can't remember sorry.
I coloured her in using my Promarker Pens. Everything from the Basic Grey is lifted using foam pads. Oh I also used Copics on her hair to try and make it more life like.

Now it's your turn to add your lovely to the challenge.

Onesie Time Challenge 139

Hello There,

Over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com this week it is my best friend Sandy's turn to pick the fun challenge and as she loves to make non traditional shaped cards that is what she has chosen for all of us to play along with. Make a card without the normal straight edges.

I have been looking at these cute little cards on quite a few sites and thought I'd give one a go. I needed to make a baby card for my friend who's daughter just had her second baby girl and thought I'd make one for Nana and Grandad too.

Here is the smaller version for Nana

The first card is made from a matt card blank and the second one is made from pearl card. Both have been run through a embossing folder and then I added the pink gingham paper cuffs which were added using pop dots then I added liquid pearls.

Thanks for stopping by today, now you give it a try.

Challenge 138..Christmas In July!

Well Hello There,
Today it is my turn to choose the theme over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com and as we are still in July I thought we'd do Christmas In July.  Now I always say "I am going to start early" and I can tell you I am still doing Christmas cards Christmas eve!! So lets kick start this busy time for us today. The challenge is to make a card or project for Christmas but it must have layers..the more the merrier.

Here is my card,

It is a 5x7 tent fold in navy. The fist paper is raised on foam pads after I stitched around the edge. I used Romantic Rectangles for the red and pearl white. The snowflake boarder my BF Sandy gave me and I added red gems. The snowflakes are another SB die and to those I added a button. the sentiment is a Verve stamp and then I coloured in my cute image using Promarker pens, I mounted her on top of the rectangle as if she is sitting on the embossed line.

Now it is your turn to make a start on those holiday cards. Before you do pop over to the other design team members blogs and see what beauties they have created.

Food, food and more food. Challenge 137

Hi there,
Over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is the lovely Raquel's turn to pick this times challenge. After studying a website of unusual special days of the month she came to the decision that July has a lot to do with all types of food. So to that end she has asked us all to come up with a card that features any type of food cut or embellishment on.

My neighbour has his birthday this week and he owns one of those gas bar bi's, any excuse to light it up and he's there lol. so this image from www.mypapercrafting.com came in handy.

I had downloaded the paper I used some time ago from I don't know where (sorry), so using the colours in it I coloured in the bear image using my Promarker pens. I used Spellbinders to cut him out and the sentiment. The "celebrate" is a HOTP stamp which I touched up with a Promarker. I used glitter yellow card to mat and layer along with a touch of red and pearl black.

Thanks for stopping by, now I look forward to seeing what you make and link up with us.

A Star is Born....Challenge 136

Hi,
Over on www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com  this week it is owner Sheri's turn to pick the theme for the challenge and she has chosen make a card or project with at least 2 stars on.

I am pretty sure this is going to be a very busy one this time around. Ofcourse you could have a new baby in the family or someone who is just a star in your eyes so make something for them.

For my card I needed a card for a man who will be 75 and he LOVES his football team but I wanted to keep away from their colours a little aswell as another football card. This theme just fell in to place for me.

The card is a large A5 and I went around the edge with the teams colours in faux stitching. Next I chose the patterned paper and pulled everything else in around it. The background paper has tiny dots on which I ran through a embossing folder and inked the edges, the sentiment is from Verve Stamps. I have some stickers of the team which I placed one inside the star which I die cut all three and twisted. A little football (soccor) touch was the ball stamped on the two flags. The gems are also the teams colours. I used my Cricut to cut the age. Inside I have a large team badge stuck to the loss leaf side of the insert, that bit should please him.

Thanks for stopping by now its your turn to make us something with atleast 2 stars on. Have fun.

Bee Happy

Hi,
I had to make (as I already said) 4 cards for the same guy recently. For this one I used a layout I saw on Jen Tapler's blog, it was so useful I may use it again.

I made a 7x7 white card blank and matted the paper on to some green card stock then added it to the blank. The 3 papers on the strips are from the same sheet of paper which was in quarters. 2 strips are matted on to green and the 3rd is on to glitter yellow. The banners are cut using a Verve Die, the main image is one of their stamps too. I printed the bee happy bit and the time to party comes from the balloon set too. I used a die set to cut out the 2 bee's and 5 ladybirds. The happy birthday is a stamp that came free on a magazine.

I used lots of foam pads on this as the balloons are 3 layer deep. A good job it doesn't need to be posted !!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Mans World take 2....

Hi,
Thought I'd throw my hat in to the ring again over at www.vervestamps.blogspot.co.uk with another card for "it's a Mans World" Diva Dare for June.

I had to make 4 cards recently for the same man who will be turning 70 in a day or so and I found myself using another Verve Plain Jane stamp (I am loving these stamps right now) so thought I'd give it a try over on their blog.

This is a white tent fold card today as it gave me more room to play with. I took a sheet of Nitwits paper (which came free with a magazine) and ran it through a embossing folder with sprigs and ditsy flowers on, I matted it on to silver mirri card and used foam pads to add it to the card base. The image is some decoupage I had in (he loves his garden to sit in and a glass of wine) which I mounted on to some soft green card. I printed out the special friend sentiment but the Happy Birthday is from Verve Stamps. I cut the 70 using my Cricut which is shadowed in silver mirri too. A few gems to the flowers and a little ribbon and job done.

Thanks for looking in today.

Diva Dare for June...Mans World

Hello there,
This month over at www.vervestamps.blogspot.co.uk The Diva Dare for this month is "Mans World" so I thought I'd take part and share my card I made for my Dad for this coming Sunday. As they live in Llandudno we won't see them so this card is just to let him know how much I love him and for being so darn awesome.

I made him this 7x7 card using kraft card as the base, I added a back ground paper after I embossed. Then I mounted a piece of wood grained paper which I have had in my stash for years on to some bling Bazil card, I used the same card to cut the mount for the sentiment, dad and little hearts from. I also used that pretty leafy die with kraft card. A couple of gems and some twine and that was it.

I think he will like this as in his younger days he was a carpenter, hence the paper I chose.

Happy Fathers Day Dad, you are AWESOME.

Sue.

The stamp I used is a Plain Jane from Verve Stamps.

3 in a Row....challenge 135

Well hello there,
this week it is my turn to choose the theme for our challenge over at www.myshericrafts.com and I think I have chosen a nice easy one for us all to enjoy. It is a 3 in a row.

Row one.    Tag shape, button, embossing (either type)

Row two.    Pattern paper, image, pearls

Row three.  Paper piecing, die cut, flowers

I knew this would be easy for some of you and I even expect to see a few cards with all 9 items on.

Here is my card. It was made for an order for a lovely young lady.

As you can see I almost made a card with all 9 but alas I only fitted 7 on there.

This card is a 7x7 white card and I have used a pink from Kaisercraft as the first mat but not before I cut the hexagon out of it to mat the image on to. The patterned paper I have had a while and I think it is Dovecraft, I ran it through a embossing folder and inked the edges with worn lipstick. The image is a Bestie and coloured in using my Promarkers. The lace was a gift and the sentiment is from a set I won over at Verve Stamps (they are wonderful), I added 3 pearls and 3 roses to finish off.

I am also entering this card in to the Bestie challenge over at www.bestieschallenge.blogspot.co.uk

Here is another card I made this was for my Big Sister and her Hubby's wedding anniversary not long ago.

This card uses row two, patterned paper, image and pearls.
This again is a 7x7 card but kraft card. I used again Kaiserkraft plain paper and also patterned paper from the same set. The image is a stencil I just bought which I inked up using 5 different Tim Holtz inks pulling in the colours from the papers. 6 pearls add a little touch before finishing off with 4 roses and some diecut leaves.

Now its time for you to join in and show us your master pieces. Please remember it must be 3 in a row horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Have fun

Sue

Something Masculine challenge 134

Hi There,
over at www.myshericrafts.com it is my good friend Sandy's turn to pick the challenge and she has chosen "masculine" so anything you like for that guy in your life.

I have chosen to make a card in a box which I love the look of, infact this is quite easy to make as long as you remember not to hang things too far over the edges of your folded card. Yes this card will fold flat for posting great yes?

I made this card for my darling husband for his birthday this year. It shows images of his favorite things. Fishing, gardening, cycling and his first great love sailing.
As you can see I used a navy blue card base and then taking the image of the cyclist I have tied in all the other colours to match.
The following photos show other angles of the card. You should have a go at this type of card it is so satisfying when it works out. My one hint would be cut everything out Before you start sticking and wet glue is best.

As you can see I have used two embossing folders on this card and to bring it out I inked just with antique linen.

Here is another card I made for a guy, this time I used a topper I picked up at a sale (there were 4 on the sheet). I kept it simple using a splash of siver and red to go with it.

I also used a embossing folder and a Verve sentiment stamp. The back ground paper is from HOTP.

Now it is your turn to join in but first off check out the other DT members blogs to see what they came up with this time.

Botanical Tea.

Good afternoon,

I have had this box frame for over a year now wondering what to put in it that I would want to look at for some time. When I came accross this page of Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper I knew exactly where it was going to end up.

I bought 2 sheets and set about fussy cutting one up. The teapot, big rose and leaves, all 3 birds and 3 postage stamps are double layers. However the title had the butterfly removed before that was layered in to place and then I added the butterfly on top so he is 3 layers deep. I also used liquid pearls and a glitter pen too.

So now when I sit down and look at this there is lots to see. Thanks for stopping by.

April Showers Brings at least 3 Flowers

Hello there over at www.myshericrafts.com it is design team sister Sarah's turn to pick our challenge theme for this next two weeks and it is April Showers brings flowers but you MUST have 3 flowers on your card or project.

For this challenge I made my card before Easter which was in April and yes we did have rain showers as normal over here in the UK.

I used this cute Sherri Baldy image 660 which I coloured in using my Promarkers which I tried to pull in the colours from the papers used. The image has 2 flowers and the backing paper has flowers but also I embossed the strip of green using a ditsy flower folder.
I cut the image out using a Spellbinder die and mounted it on to the larger diecut making sure it sat over the same image on the back ground paper. I lifted the pink out of the background paper on the second slimmer strip. I did round two corners on the green but its hidden under the sentiment.

Now it is your turn to join in but please remember to add at least 3 flowers to your project.

Celebrate Mums Challenge 132

Hi There,
Over at www.myshericrafts this time it is design sister Peachy's turn to pick the challenge and she has chosen "celebrate Mom's"  well infact it can be any woman in your life who needs celebrating for one reason or another.

For me this was easy as I chose Mothers Day which over here in the UK it was 30th March. So my Mum has received this card already.

She not been too well over the past couple of months but is doing well now. I made her this large 7x7 card using what has to be (in my opinion) the best for a long time set of papers from Kaisercraft "curiosity collection". I just love them.

In fact if the truth be known this card was made out of the left overs from a layout I made of her and my Dad. I took a heart doily and inked it up using spiced marmalade and fire brick to pull it all together. The topper is on foam pads and the butterfly's and small roses are all 3d too.

Now you thing of the woman/mum you would like to celebrate and share your project with us.

Here is the layout I was talking about.

Hello,

Now this is a good one, over at www.myshericrafts this time design team sister Charlotte has asked us to make a card or project with some laughter on/in it.
Well I really had to put on my thinking cap for this one and then I remembered Sandy had sent me an image she had found on a free page.

My friend in works husband is going in to hospital for a new knee and you know how those gowns fit. So I made him this.

Look how his butt is slightly lighter as it never sees the light of day (I hope). The papers are from Hot Off The Press a few years ago. I added a couple of safety pins just for fun.

Now its your turn to think funny and join in.

I picked up this basket in a local store wrapped a Easter ribbon around the lip and made a couple of bows. I covered the handle with orange gingham ribbon too. The bunny in the back I coloured using my Pro Markers picking up the colours of the foil on the eggs and the ribbon.
I added some lovely blooms to the mix  too. Now I just have to wait for Easter so I can make a start!!

Now it is your turn to make something and link up.

Challenge 129

Hello,
Today over at www.myshericrafts.com it is design team sister Raquel's turn to set the challenge and so this time she would like us to create a project with a spring flower on it.

Now I don't have any actual stamps with what could be called "spring flowers" on them so I decided to make my card using a little stamp I have had in my stash for a while along with this ever so cute little girl in a plant pot stamp my dear friend Sandy sent me.

I have been loving the boarders available to go around the edge of a card, but as I don't own any yet I made my own.
The card is a 6x6 easel and I have used this stripe paper from my stash which I ran though my GC first. The image is coloured in with my Pro Marker pens as are the little flowers.  I just have to add a sentiment maybe Happy Spring Time or Popping Up to Say.

Now it is your turn to think Spring Flowers and join in.

Bring on the Bling....

Hello there,
Over at www.myshericrafts.com design team member Peachy has asked us to make a card or project utilizing as much bling as you can muster lol to celebrate Jewel Day on 13 March. So it is time to bring out your glitter, jewels cosmic shimmer you name it bring it out to play.

For this challenge I chose to make this card.

The card is a 5x7 and I have used Kaisercraft papers which are double sided so you are always going to match up colours. I embossed the back paper using tied together folder. I used a SB to cut away the edge of the top layer and wrapped around a little cream lace. the sentiment is one big stamp and I inked the edge with a pale blue embossing ink and added the holographic powder. I used the cut offs to add to its edge.
The huge rose I added glitter to and a touch of stickles to the leaves. The clear gems I added to the points and just for double measure I added the shiniest butterfly I could.

Right now it is your turn to join in the fun and link up your master piece but remember it is for jewel day so think like a magpie!

Vintage Guy Card

Hello again,
Today over at www.myshericrafts.com it is my turn to pick the theme and I chose vintage guy card which must include some inking on it.

This card is for an order for a young man turning 18 who likes the cinema. I chose to make a large A5 card this time.

As you can see the card blank is deep red which reminded me of the old cinema seats which were quite plush. The ticket paper is from MME which I embossed and then distressed and then inked with Fire Brick and Black Soot. The black striped paper is from HOTP and it has been in my stash for years. The images are from Kaisercraft as are the two stamps I have used. I printed out sentiment myself. For a little throw back the Live Life stamp is matted on to red velvet paper.

Thanks for stopping by today, now take a peek at the other girls creations and then join in.

My Sheri Crafts challenge 126

Hello again,

Over at www.myshericrafts.com it is design team member Sandy's turn to choose the challenge and this week it is add a heart to a card.
Now to me that dose not just mean valentines but any other time of the year too. So here is my card for this time.

For this 5x5 card I have used some lovely double sided card by MME it is a sort of zesty yellow/green colour with white dots. I used some of this wonderful wide lace sent to me by my friend and some lemon ribbon too. The hearts are cut using a Spellbinder die and I embossed the back one using a Sue Wilson's folder, the front lacy one is cut in white card. The sentiment is by Kaisercraft. To finish it off I added a few gems in green and smokey yellow.

Thanks for stopping by, now it is your turn to make something and link up.

Lots of Love Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Lots Of Love Blog Hop over at www.mypapercrafting.com

I decided to take part in Melinda's blog hop for valentines. If you have come to me from Sandy's blog then you are in the right place http://sandy-palmer.blogspot.com There are 8 of us in this hop so its nice and quick to get around and get some great LOVE ideas so as to speak lol. Do start at the beginning over at www.mypapercrafting.com and follow the links as there are prizes on the way so be sure to leave a comment at each stop along with your Email so we can get back to you if your the lucky one.
One person will be randomly picked after they leave a comment on all blogs and they will win a voucher for $20. Then one person from each blog will win a free digi or svg to the value of $2 that will be randomly picked too.

So here is my card for the challenge, isn't he so cute...

For this card I used a 6x6 cream card blank and removed a small strip from the front edge. I then used a soft red rose paper to cover the front. I used a length of grosgrain ribbon along one side but I added two tucks at the bottom which I added a heart button to.
I chose to bring out the green in the paper by making the mats for the image and patterned paper along with the flourish too.
The cute image comes with the sentiment underneath as well as without. It is called Bear Immeasurably Loved, I coloured it in using my ProMarker pens.

Now it is time to hop on over to the next design team member Charlotte  at www.alittlebitofdetail.blogspot.com and then on to the next one until you have visited us all.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have lots of fun.

Lacy Sunshine Challenge 25-Bingo

Hello,

Over at www.lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk this week the challenge is to follow the game of BINGO. I have chosen to use the top line and make a card with a bow, pearls and ribbon on it.

The card is a 5x7 top fold in pearlesent white. The paper with the text on was free in a magazine and says "always look for the rainbows in your life" I then used lavender/black card which when embossed the black shows the lavender through. I used some white lace ribbon under the mats which hold the coloured image. Again this week it is a image I had coloured in before Christmas (another one down for this year lol) and so I added a ribbon flower and bow and 3 pearls to bring it all together. The sentiment is a Verve stamp and I have used TH ink pad in dusty concord throughout.
