I found these few photo's of my son when we think he was about 2 years old. We were up at my Mum & Dad's in North Wales.
He was so cute with his almost white blond hair which was so curly in his dungaree's brushing up their back yard.
I used a sheet of Basic Grey paper which I think was one of the first papers I bought and thought I'd never find anything to do with it. I have also used a few off cuts from a Kaisercraft paper on here too.
Thanks for looking.
Sue.
Just so you can see his hair.

JustRite challenge 084
Well this is my first try at a Justrite challenge. I have been following these for quite some time now with my friend Sandy. So here goes....
The card is a 6x6 and I have used the Justrite Bon Voyage set. The papers are from My Minds Eye-holiday damask paper which is double sided. I also used Tim Holtz- Fired Brick and Adirondack- Espresso ink pads.
Houndstooth embossing folder, lace trim, Craftwork Cards sentiment circle, Cosmic Shimmer-specialist PVA glue to make the pearls. Spellbinders - flourish, branch and scallop circle. Flowers are from my stash.
I hope you like it.
Here are a couple of other photos to maybe see some of the element's closer.
Thanks for looking

Good Morning,
As you can see I have added a link to Merly Impressions monthly challenge. This is the crop I go to every other month, however every month Chrissy's DT put out a layout challenge too. Try to pop over and take a peek.
You can also see some of the lovely layouts Chrissy has done for us to try to follow on her blog, you can even shop as well.

Thanksgiving Cards, a first for me.
Here are two Thanksgiving cards I made using some papers I have been keeping for just this moment from Kaisercraft from thier "peachy keen" collection. One sheet had these two birds on and another the background vines. I also used the "Fall Foilage" from Spell Binders and my Cricut to cut the Thanks on this one.
On this second card I embossed the back ground paper and used Spell Binders "Fancy Squares" also a flourish from them and the same "Fall Foilage"dies. This bird was smaller so the card is a 5x5.
Thanks for looking today.

Family is everything.
Hello,
Well I can't believe it, my darling son will be 19 tomorrow! Where did all those years go?
He loves his family and always wants photo's up of us all. This year we went to my cousins wedding and this meant we had time for a group shot. Here he is centre back with my parents, my hubby and I, my 2 sisters and their other halves and my niece.
This will go in his bedroom on the wall. The frame I picked up in a craft store, it is a deep one which meant I could add embellishments to it. The papers and sentiment are from the Kaisercraft "Homemade" collection along with a few gems and flowers from my stash.
Thanks for taking a peek.

Friendship card
I thought I'd add a card today.
This was made for an order. I used some free papers on this card along with my newest Spell Binder and a couple of flourish dies too. The sentiment is a Kaisercraft rub on. A little dotty ribbon to match the flower and a further 3 flowers to anchor the other side. The finish size is a UK A5.
Thanks
Sue

Golden Wedding
Hi,
This is a layout of my wonderful Mum and Dad at their 50th wedding anniversary 5 years ago.
This I made at the Merly Impressions crop I go to over in Bedford every other month.
We used the "miss matched" collection again but this time the papers were blue. Chrissy gives us full instructions on how to put together the layout but we can then alter to fit out own photo's etc. For once I think I kept to her design lol
We cut out lots of the blue flowers to add and layer then dotted around a few pale lemon pearls.
Thanks for peeking,
Sue

My first try at a Mojo Monday challenge.
Good morning,
This is my first attempt at entering a card on the Mojo Monday Challenge. This one is for 268.
You don't see many guy type cards on this challenge so hope they like it.
I have used the Kaisercraft Attitude collection completely on this A5 black card. I embossed the What's up panel and then inked the edge with grey and then added clear embossing powder.
I swiss dot embossed the Teenager paper too. I added some faux stitching around most of the edges. The black panel was cut using Storybook Cricut Cartridge and a small snip of black grosgrain ribbon from my stash.
This card is for my son who's birthday is next week. I am usually last minute making his but this time I'll be ready lol. I will be adding a couple of music charms to this and a Happy Birthday sentiment.
Now to try and upload it. Thanks for looking.

"Chit Chat"
Just look at this little fella chatting to this little girl who he didn't know. We were sat over the other side of the square. It looked like he was telling her" that's my Mum & Dad over there". We were on a holiday and this was in Tumbridge Wells.
Thanks for peeking.

"is this strawberry Nana?"
This layout I completed on Sunday whilst my son (above) was out on his bike with his Dad doing a 20 mile ride.
My son is somewhat bigger now (almost 19) but this shows him at his Nana and Grandads in North Wales in about 1995 at breakfast time. I am not a lover of photo's of children with food over their faces but this one has been missing for quite some years and when I saw it it just had to be done!

Picture Perfect
Here is a layout I made at a crop I go to every other month run by Chrissy at Merly Impressions over by Bedford here in the UK.
The papers we used were "mismatched collection" by Kaisercraft. Chrissy is a BIG fan of fussy cutting and we did plenty on this one. The photograph was taken by my hubby when we went to stay at Thorsbury Hall in Nottingham for a short break a couple of years ago. The Polaroid frame was in the kit of the day too.
I make a 12x12 page each month for my family calendar which hangs in the kitchen, so every time I boil the kettle for a cup of tea I look at this.
