Bee happy in your new home.....
I made this card for my big sister and her hubby who have just moved in to their new home.
The card uses "flowers n bees" digi from www.mypapercrafting.com and today over on the site it is Digi Fridaze and by linking up your own creation you could stand to win a digi of your choice so pop on over there to see what the other DT members have made for you to see.
The card is a 5x5 and I have made a front fold back card. I matted some gingham paper on the back and front fold. I matted the image which I coloured in with my Promarkers on to white pearl using pop dots and then on to some pretty flower paper/card I had in. I added 2 butterfly brads and some lavender gems.
Here is a closer look to the inside.
Thanks for peeking in today.

More wedding cards to share.
Here are two more cards I have made for orders.
This young bride has colours of orange and fuchsia pink for her day. So another of my friends asked for me to make her a wedding card and a card for the mother of the bride. So this is what I came up with.
Here is the other card, again it is a A5 in size but tent fold.
I have used the same collection of papers from Chrissy but on this one I used "blush" I added some flourishes which I embossed using clear powder. The frame I cut from StoryBook Cartridge after a little play on the design studio. Again I have used some Spellbinder dies too. I added a few pearls to lift it a little.
Thanks for looking in today.

The card is a A5 size. I used papers from Kaisercraft Tigerlilly collection and plain cardstock too. First I cut a piece from "peach" and ran it through my GC using a swirl embossing folder and stuck it down. Then using my design studio and Paper Lace cartridge I cut the next layer using my Cricut, I attached this by collall 3D glue to give it lift. I threaded some ribbon through a diamond style pin and attached through the card. Then I fussy cut the flowers from the other side of the "peach" paper and again using the 3D glue I attached them, the bottom right flower is another layer too, so loads of height in this card. the lower butterfly I cut away and added there. I printed out the sentiment and used Spellbinders to cut them out.
All the papers are from Chrissy at www.merlyimpressions.co.uk

Wedding Cards
With spring around the corner there seems to be quite a few weddings going on for my friends. With that I have been asked to produce cards for them to give the happy couples.
I have made these two for one couple. Both my friend and her daughter needed cards to give so I had to make them quite different.
My friend found this blog to look at last week and she has lots of fab sketches she likes people to use on it. If you have time pop over to check it out www.milolilja.net I chose 2 sketches to give me inspiration and this is what I made. I gave them a little tweak to fit my order.
This first card is A5 in size and uses a paper collection which was free out of a magazine 2 years ago. I cut the 4 hearts using my Cricut and ran the top ones through the GC using the swiss dots folder and then I tore the edges. I also embossed the spotty paper with the swirl folder. I used lace, hat pins and paper flowers along with flourishes cut using design studio. The stamps are Sue Wilsons and Kaisercraft.
This card I used MME paper/card which I ran through the GC using the swirl folder. Again I used my Cricut and design studio to cut the flourishes but also I made the white frame on top of the paper. The SB die is the first I bought and the stamp is Kaisercraft. The sentiment I printed out but copied from a Sue Wilson stamp.
As you can see both different.

Layout Fun
Last Saturday I went to my bi-monthly crop held over Bedford way by Chrissy who owns Merly Inpressions Scrapbooking store www.merlyimpressions.co.uk This time she didn't do a layout for us to buy and complete but provided us with a sketch to follow which also had to have 3 of her favorite things on.
I took along with me this photo of my hubby and son taken in 2009 which shows my sons first carp he caught with his dad. Needless to say they released it back to grow bigger and hopefully give them sport another day.
Thanks for looking.

The table is set now where is he!!
Hi all,
Another Friday arrives and so it is time to share with you all another card using one of the fab digis from www.mypapercrafting.com . This time I have used this cute lady bird waiting for her man to bring home the worm for tea lol.
I made this card for my cousin and her hubby to celebrate their new home which they have just moved in to after getting married last year.
The card is a 6x8 tent fold and I used blue glitter card on one half and on the other DCWV card stack. I made a tag shape for the image. The little flower is made from left overs and a brad. I printed the greeting off the PC and used my Spellbinder to cut it out.
Now its time to pop over there to see what else is on show this week. Don't forget to link up your own creation as you may win a free digi or better still a guest designer spot.

A stitch in time........
Hi to all,
Well it is time for another Tag or ATC challenge over at mypapercrafting.com This week we had to use stitching on our item. So as I stitched on last weeks I decided to do a play on words and use the phrase and clocks.
Well it is time for another Tag or ATC challenge over at mypapercrafting.com This week we had to use stitching on our item. So as I stitched on last weeks I decided to do a play on words and use the phrase and clocks.
I made a long tag out of cream cardstock. I used a Sam Pool A5 time stamp over the top section. I then stamped my free clock face stamp randomly over plus one extra which I cut out. I embossed using the clock folder and then inked over using Tim Holtz crushed olive and marigold ink pads. I did stitch a little using a peach/pink thread. The black ribbon at the top is the cord of my hubby's Pj's.
Thanks for peeking.

Anyone for a cuppa????
Hello again,
It's Friday so it can only mean another chance to win over on www.mypapercrafting.com . If you link your own creation to the site you could win a free digi but better still if you link using one of their digis you could win the chance to be a guest designer. So far we have had some great ones.
This time I have chosen the clock face to go on an invite to a cuppa to one of my friends. She loves her flavoured teas and this is one of her new favorites.
I made a cute little 4x4 card blank and covered the base using co-ordinations black with purple inside which I embossed then sanded back. I also kept to the colours on the box by adding a flourish and flower as a stopper.
Thanks for looking in.
