2 colours only.

Hello,

Today I'd  like to share a tag I've made for a gift soon to be given. This week Nikky has asked us to make something using only 2 colours (other than skin and hair) and I have chosen to make a gift tag because let's face it at this time of the year we need lots (most of us anyways).

I cut the shape using a Dutch Doobadoo but first I removed the bell from the bottom. Then I printed off red and green paper from winnie-winterland -papers 7 and a couple of sentiments from winnie-winterland-big-kahuna-download-bundle which the papers above are from.

Then I printed off winnie-wings-digital-stamp and coloured her in using my alcohol markers sticking to reds and greens making up a couple of shades! I chose to colour her hair auburn after choosing the reds.
I cut a couple of trees and offset those adding some white drops of Nuvo, then I added the image using foam pads. A little scrap of ribbon to the top which I felt pulled it together with the bold 25 December at the top. I decided to add some dots of gold Nuvo drops around the edge. A shake of fine glitter to her bobble hat and chunky shards to her wings and we are finished.

I do hope you can join in again this week, as always anything goes.

Birthday Lady

Hello,

Today I'd like to share this card I have made for my Auntie who turns 70 today, I have to say she is a very young 70. The other day I read somewhere that 70 is the new 60!

I have chosen to use this lovely All Dressed Up image and I have coloured her in using my alcohol markers choosing an array of pinks. Then I selected papers from Mintay-Dreamer. from Crafteezee UK along with others from my stash.
Then I made my own flowers using Foamiran . I have watched lots of YouTube videos by Emilia Sieradzan and finally took the plunge! I have to say I was so pleased with the results.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you like what you have seen and feel you can leave a word or two.

Special Friend Birthday

Hi,

Today I'm sharing this card I have made for an order to a special lady. I've not made a tall card in ages and after watching YouTube videos on flower making I decided it was time  to rectify this.

I chose to use some papers and coordinating image from Pion Designs. I stitched around the blue paper but only 2 sides on the cream flowery one. The image I tight cut and added to some blue then placed that on top of cream deep lace using foam pads for lift.

I have made 2 of the flowers from Foamiran and the other 2 are purchased. I have added a metal leaf along with a flower adding a blue pearl to its centre first. The sentiment has been printed from my computer and added with lift. To finish a few drops of Nuvo were added.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Christmas Card in a Box.

Hello,

Tuesday is the day to start the new challenge over at digichoosday and this week we are still inspiring you with your Christmas card making.

Today the DT have been challenged to make a Card in a Box. I have to say I do love making these so I was happy with this challenge.
Here is what I have made for you

and this is how we arrived at the end result. First off I have printed off papers and embellishments from winnie-white-christmas-big-kahuna-download-kit I chose 2 papers and cut them to cover back plate and the fronts and front flaps, all edges have been inked with Red Robbin.
You can see I have covered the 3 shelves inside with the paper too.
You can see that I covered the three shelves inside with paper too. The tree has been fussy cut and attached to the back plate. I then took the cute sentiment from Gnome-men-snow-ho-ho-clear-stamp and added that under the tree.

Then choosing other images I fussy cut them out and added them to stalks of covered stiff card at different angles so they can be seen when the card is on the shelf.

I have then taken images and attached them to the flaps on front and sides.
The tree has been mounted over the top of a similar one used on the back plate with dots of gold glitter added to areas on the image.

The sentiment and baubles have all been added using pop dots for lift. Here is a image showing how the card will fold flat to go in a envelope for posting.
Thank You for stopping by today. I do hope you can join in with us but remember you don't have to make a card in a box as it is a anything goes challenge.

Christmas Gifting.

Hello,
Today I'm sharing a card I've made using this lovely Paper Nest Dolls. Winter Gift Emma  this is the first time I have used a image from Paper Nest Dolls and I must say they are lovely to use.

This image could be used for any gift giving in chilly weather but today I decided to do a Christmas card.

I've taken a paper from a recent purchase and passed it through a dotty embossing folder, I matted it on to a sparkly green paper and then I cut snowflakes and a corner die from the same paper. I used the same snowflake and corner die and cut it in white. The image was matted on to the same green, then I used a Merry Christmas stamp on a white strip and matted it on to the same green paper which I had cut a Verve Die out of tying it all together.

The image I coloured in using my Promarker pens.

To A Special Friend

Hello!

Today I'd like to share a card I have made using the lovely Mintay-Dreamer 6x6 paper pad from crafteezee.co.uk
This paper pad comes with 4x12 design sheets so it allows you to cut in to them and decoupage up elements. You can see this in the second photo.

I have added flowers, stamens and berries also from crafteezee  along with dots of glitter glue and Nuvo drops in pink.

The card was well received and another has been ordered which I'm happy to do.

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have time to leave a word or two as I love to see who has stopped by.

Besties Birthday

Hello,

Today I'd like to share the card I made for my best friend Sandy over in Florida it's her birthday today.

I have used this cute little Tilda stamp I recently purchased from crafteezee.co.uk and I have coloured her in using my alcohol markers. I have used the dies from the Tonic magazine and backed them using the prettiest glitter card from merlyimpressions.co.uk . Because this had to go airmail I've kept it quite flat (I'm sure she understood).

Thanks for stopping by today.

Paper folding

Hi there!

Today I’d like to share a ( new to me) card fold. I have made it for the new challenge starting today over at digichoosday . We were asked to make a Christmas card using any image but it must include paper folding. I decided I wanted to do something different so I searched YouTube for something  new and this is what I came up with.

I yet again went to winnie-winterland-big-kahuna-digital-craft-download where I printed off  papers, sentiments and images. I have used all pre-coloured images on this project but everything I have used comes B&W for you to colour too if you so decide.
I have matted the inside and front cover papers on to green shimmer paper from my stash and oh I must add the inside papers are from baked-with-love-paper-heaven-1

Here is a little video of the card opening.

I hope you like what you see and can leave a word or two.  Also do come over and join in the fun with us, for you its anything goes.

Pearl Anniversary

Hello,

Today I'd like to share a card I have made to celebrate a couples Pearl Wedding Anniversary.

The card started as a 7x7 bright white to which I cut a heart out of the front and backed it with the stripe paper. Then taking a floral paper 8x8 I cut the heart out of the centre and stuck it down covering the front trimming all around.
Then I added a vellum sheet to the front but only attaching on the left side covering the tape with a strip of floral removed from the under sheet.

I added a deep pink sheer ribbon and within the bow I added a wine bottle charm. I then added the sentiment to the top right tucking under a few fussy cut flowers.
The vellum flowers were embossed with sparkle white powder and the stamp is one of Chloe's, I coloured behind with my Copic pens. I added pearls to their center's and dotted white Nuvo drops around. The leaves are from the paper too.

Thanks for dropping by today, I hope you like what you see and maybe leave a comment too.

Gift Giving.

Hello!

Today over at digichoosday.blogspot we are starting a new challenge which is as always Anything Goes.  For the design team we were asked to use an image from the store that incorporated giving a gift but we had to make it in the Christmas theme.

So I chose my image  winnie-bearing-gifts. from the wonderful winnie-winterland-big-kahuna-digital-craft-download this is packed full of images both coloured in and not, along with papers and embellishments, the hardest part is deciding what to use!!
Then I decided what to make and for me it had to be a gift bag. I have to say in hindsight I should have gone a little smaller but hey ho too late now.

I've used 3 papers from the kit along with the little image tabs and embellishments. Then there is the image which is as I have already said is Winnie bearing gifts and I coloured her in using my ProMarker pens.
I have also used a couple of stamps from Nikky's polymer stamp set which has a half of a Christmas tree on it. I believe it's out of stock at the moment. I also used 3 letters from Love & Romance scrabble letters. 3 different lace's and ribbons, lots of stickles plus a few other bits from my stash to finish off my project.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you can come over and share your makes with us. A great prize to be won along with 3 DT top pick prizes.

Warm Thoughts

Hello!
Today I’d like to share another pink Christmas card I have made.

I have used a selection of papers from my stash and on the top one I stamped snowflakes and embossed using a new to me WOW powder. I cut the three trees and raised one putting the little fence in front. The mittens gave me the 2 snowflakes to add which was cute.
The image is Tilda and I've  coloured her in with alcohol markers and dropped some white embossing flakes on top. The little tag is a Magnolia die and the sentiments are by Justrite stamps.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have liked what you have seen today and can maybe leave a word or two.

Garden Girl

Hello There!

I'd like to share with you all a birthday card made for a lady who loves her garden.

I have made this easel card for her and added lots of different coordinating papers to it. All the edges on everything have been inked with Brushed Corduroy.

The frame was a birthday gift from my dearest friend Sandy. I thought it was perfect for a autumnal birthday. The sentiments are both from Verve Stamps (one of my very favourite suppliers before they closed). The tag is a new purchase from Magnolia and I printed on the tag using my PC.

The flowers and stamens are from crafteezee.uk as is the birdhouse and birdie.  Oh by the way the Garden Girl came from the corner of one of the papers.

Thanks for stopping in today, hope you like what you see and can spare a moment to leave a comment.

Christmas Card and Gift package

Hello,

Today we have a new challenge starting over at digichoosday and as always it's Anything Goes. You can join in with any image it doesn't have to be a Polkadoodles one but we do love to see what you make with them.

Nikky has asked us to come up with several ideas using   A) any image.  B) make a card.  C) cover a box with a paper. D) make a tag.  E) make or line an envelope.  For my collection I have used the lovely Winnie-winterland-big-kahuna kit

Here is what I have made using an image for the card from one of the designer sheets (which are perfect if your in a hurry or don't like to colour). I have added a sentiment from the kit and a extra bow over the candy canes. I also added ribbon along the edge too.

Next I made a little gift card which houses a store card and that comes in a lined envelope.

The front has some strips of paper and a sentiment and couple of winter flowers.

Then lastly I have made a pillow box from one of the papers (leftovers used to line the envelope above) in the kit as well as a tag too.

I do hope you can come on over and join in the fun. A great prize to be randomly won along with 3 DT winners too.

Happy Birthday Maisie.

Hello There!

Today I'd like to share this cute little card I have made for one of the younger members of my family. Who as you can see will be turning 2 this week!

As you can see I have made a 5x5 easel  card. I have used a selection of papers from winnie-celebrations-1-papers-1 along with some from my stash. The image is from Hobby House and there were 6 on one A4 sheet.
This little girl so reminds me of Maisie as she also has hair this colour and it won't be long before curls like her too.
I added different die cuts to the card linking in the theme and colours on the image. The die used behind the image is bubbleicious and its quite cute don't you think.

Well thanks for stopping by, hope you will be able to leave a word or two.

Christmas Mosaic

Hello,

Today over at digichoosday we are starting a new challenge and this week the design team have been asked to  1) Make a Christmas Card
                2) Make a Mosaic background
                3) Use Any Christmas Image
For you guys it is still a anything goes challenge.

So here we go, I have used 3 papers from Winni White Christmas Papers-3 cutting in to 1 3/4 inch squares then I matted on to dark green paper. I then cut a 5 6/8th piece of Winterland-digital-craft-papers in deep red and added each of the 9 squares to it, then I added it to the bright white card blank.
I added a sheer green ribbon to the edge with a cute knot. Then I opened up the Winnie Winterland Big Kahuna Bundle  and chose one of the design-sheets #4 . I used just one of the images on it (leaving other bits for another card) which I lifted using foam pads. I also used one of the many sentiments within the bundle too.
The kit is wonderful and jammed packed with everything you could possibly need to make amazing Christmas cards and Home Décor projects. There are quick and easy design sheets along with tags and frames too. Be sure to check it out when next in STORE

I added a little bit of holly and plenty tiny dots of perfect pearls in ruby to finish things off.

I hope you will be able to join us this week with your own creation, don't forget there is a super prize to be won along with 3 DT top pick prizes. You don't need to use Polkadoodles products but we do love to see them.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you can leave a word or two as its always nice to see who has been.

Card in a Box

Hi,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made recently for an order. I read from a crafty friend how difficult these cards in a box are to photograph and boy is she right!

The card is tall and fits inside a A5 envelope so the next photo shows it laying down.

The young guy as you can see is now 18 and is a very keen football fan of one of our top flight teams. So I kept it in their colours and added masculine sentiments and embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to say Hi!

Autumnal Graphic45 Tag

Hello,

I'd like to share with you all today a sweet little tag I made using up little pieces of Graphic45 paper that I couldn't throw away and I know you all know what I mean lol.

I just LOVE these papers (to be honest most of their papers) and even though there were only little snippets left I just had to make something with them.

Here you can see a little better the layering that I have added

the bottom flowers, the bird and a butterfly. The text has been added to the reverse side of the paper.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Fall Wreath

Hi All!

Well the leaves are turning brown here in my little corner of the UK which can only mean one thing and that is that Autumn/Fall is on its way!

So this week over at digichoosday we are coming up with our own autumn projects.  Today I have decided to make a small hanging wreath to go in my entrance hall. I have lots of handmade items in there such as wall quilts and the like.

Today I have used many elements from the autumn-fall-dig-colour-download This is packed full of wonderful images already coloured in. There is also a non-coloured version available albeit with less images.

First off I selected a wreath and added other elements to it along with extra bits around the page after resizing. I then set about fussy cutting both inside and out.

Once completed I inked around the edges (I hate to see white edges)

Then I needed a image for the centre and this time I used the adorable serenity-blossom image which I added to a sheet of distress-ink-papers-plain and then I coloured her in using Promarkers.

I then used the fanciful-circles to cut her out but to also cut out a frame for her to go behind and the wreath be added to the top. I also cut out lots of extra leaves etc and added those to the wreath

Here is a little side on so you can see the depth. I also added some dots of glitter glue and the twine to hang it.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can come on over and join in with the challenge for you all it is anything goes.

Christmas Mojo 521

Hello,

Today I’m joining in over at mojo-Monday albeit a bit late!! I've  had the post almost finished but I went away for a few days.

I managed to make 2 cards using the sketch, plus a couple of other not using it so I'm very happy as a couple more ready in the Christmas box.

For this first one I have used an image I've had a while by Wee Stamps and it come pre-coloured along with papers from my stash.

This next one uses papers and topper by Splash Crafts called Christmas Opulence.

It is so hard to take a good photo of shimmer card or gold foiling! But in real life they are beautiful and bright.
Here's the sketch if you'd like to use it.

Thanks for stopping by today, I will be joining in at the following blogs

Spooky Party Invite

Hi There!

Time to start a new challenge over at digichoosday and today we are thinking ahead to that spooky time of the year Halloween 🦇. We could  use any image but had to make a invitation.

I've  used oddella-bow and coloured her in with Promarkers today. I've  also used a selection of sentiments from halloween-trick-or-treat-sentiments and papers from halloween-papers 3 .

Here is the inside under the flap.

I decided to make the invitation in the shape of a coffin out of black cardstock, covering it in the orange paper and inking around the edge. The flap is out of silver and covered in the green paper. I added the orange pompom to cheer it up and make it more fun. I added sequins and a few bats.

I do hope you can come over and play along with us.

Christmas Tag

Good morning!

Today I’d like to share cute tag I have made using Sina-memory-box she can be found at Swedishhousecrafts
This is for the challenge over at Magnolia-licious challengeblog  For August. They also have a Facebook page too.

I chose to use one of my Doobadoo card shapes in a bell design. I covered it with the brown and teal dot paper from my stash adding a Christmas red doily along with one of the star diecuts from my Tonic Die. I also cut out 25th and a twig and poinsettia to add.

Here is the front view where you can see the image coloured in with my alcohol markers and then fussy cut out. The sentiment comes along with the image too and I added that to a little vellum before I added it.  The teal ribbon I made using the marker pen I used on her dress. Before I finished I added some dots of glitter glue in gold and red.

Will Miss You!

Ooh where is this year going too?

Another Tuesday which can only mean one thing, yes it's time to start a new challenge over at digichoosday and this we the DT have been asked to make a card for someone who is retiring. This one makes me smile because I retired but a month ago myself.

We could use any image but had to make it a card. For you guys it is still anything goes.

For this 6x6 card I have used 3 papers from the lovely helga-hippo-paper-heaven-2 popping them up and mounting on plain white. The image is ula-be-strong who I have coloured in using my Promarker's and Copic's. I fussy cut her out and added foam pads for lift. The sentiment is from winnie-celebrations-2 lots of lovely ones in this one. I added it to the typewriter because it could be for someone in the typing pool. The flowers are from my stash and the two paper roll flowers are made with paper from under her. To finish off I used some Nuvo drops in zesty green to pick up from the paper.

Thanks for stopping by today, I do hope you will join in with the challenge. I am joining in at the following:
