New Bobby Socks Brings in Spring

Hello,

New challenge time over at A Gem of a Challenge and today we are getting ready for Easter/Spring.

Now when I was young we always recived new socks at Easter from either  Nana or an Auntie as this meant it was time to wear your lighter skirts or even shorts!! Well when you were 6 or so your blood was thicker lol. So I have a cousin who has a little girl and I'd like to carry on the tradition of giving New Bobby Socks at Easter to her too. Well you can't just give them can you? so I made this cute little gift bag.
I used this adorable image called bunny-painting Which comes in black and white or pre-coloured which is what I have used here.

The bag is 5X7 in size and I have added a heavy paper to it first to steady it to take the rest. I have used papers from the free-tatty-twinkle-easter-digital-download  and images from winnie-sugar-sprinkles-embellies-bundle  the sentiment is from winnie-sugar-sprinkles-word-art-bundle I've used foam pads to lift everything .

 

 Even though she is not yet 2 a chocolate bunny was required to go along with the socks. Well I'm sure Mum and Dad will help her eat it.

Easter Cross

Hello,
It's time to start a new challenge over at Digichoosday. We are thinking about the up and coming Easter celebrations in our design team makes this week.
Here is mine using an image from winnie-sugar-sprinkles-embellies-bundle along with others which I fussy cut out and placed on and around the main image.

I added a touch of green under the image and used foam pads to add that to the card blank which I  had covered with paper from winnie-sugar-sprinkles-paper-heaven-4  I went around the edge of the card with a Micron pen and added drops of  Nevo drops and Perfect Peals to finish.

Say it with Flowers

Hello,

It's time for another challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and this time we the DT are using flowers in our makes.
 As always we are a Anything Goes challenge so I hope you can come over and share what it is your creating right now. There is a random winner and 3 DT top picks with a voucher to spend on any download you like at polkadoodles.co.uk .

Today I have used bunny-with-flowers  and he comes black and white for you to colour or pre-coloured which is what I have used here. I made a tent fold 5x7 card blank and covered with a leafy print paper after stitching around the edge with daffodil yellow thread.
I used fancy-rectangles-tabs-die-set to cut out a frame for my image and placed that on to a pale green circle cut with fanciful-circles-nested-set-6-craft-cutting-dies I double cut the word Hello and lots of little flowers and leaves to complete my card.

For a Lady

It's new challenge time over at digichoosday and our theme is For a Lady but for you it is anything goes.

I have chosen to make this birthday hanger to send to my lovely Aunt who's birthday is later this week.

I started with a 6x6 piece of kraft card and added a paper from distress-ink-papers-plain which I stamped a vintage lace stamp across. Then I took 6 images from the gorgeous Belle-papillon-vintage-amazingness-download and resized them and fussy cut around the flowers. The 2 tags I have added gold flakes around. I added pink card under a couple of layers to make them pop. A couple of vintage buttons and tiny wooden hearts were added also. The two sentiments are from winnie-celebrations-2-sentiments and have been added to spare paper and foam pads beneath.
I just punched 2 holes to take the ribbon and dotted about some perfect pearls. This is so pretty in real life and feel sure she will love it as its right up her street.

Ebony Fairy Gift Box

Hello,

Well here I am sharing my project for the new challenge starting today over at lilpatchofcraftyfriends and we have a NEW to us sponsor for this #101 challenge  Emerald Faeries   Tracy has some adorable images to purchase and if you enter the challenge you may be the winner of 2 images from her store, so what are you waiting for?
 Here is my project. All ready for Easter or a little Birthday Gift using Ebony the adorable fairy hugging her toadstool. 

I coloured her in using my Promarker Pens and a few Copic's too. I printed out two images so I could decoupage  her up. I gave her a little frame before placing it on top of a little box I made. The box is 5x5.

I made up this little  flower collection for the top corner and added a little toadstool to link it all up.

As you can see I've added some sweet coconut mushrooms (which were my mum's favourites ) to the box in the first photo and chocolate eggs inside on the second photo (which have already been eaten by my husband)  hoping to give as a little gift.

Love You Mum

Today is the start of a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and so as to get us ready we are thinking about Mother's Day. Here in the U.K. it falls on 31 March.

For my card today I have used this adorable image of Ella elephant with bouquet and she and all her friends can now be found in store at polkadoodles.co.uk .  If you enter the challenge you could be picked by random to be the winner of a $10 voucher to spend in store on any download of your choice. I recently bought a Gemini and in the box were some goodies and the die you see was one of them. I have used a Kaisercraft paper from the ooh-la-la-collection along with scraps from papers found in kits from polkadoodles.co.uk . The image I placed on to a paper from distress-ink-papers-plain before printing and then I printed another image without the background which I fussy cut out and lifted on foam pads. I added perfect pearls and Nuvo drops to the flowers and around the image too.
