Hi,
Well it's that time again for another challenge over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com and this time it is my very good Friend Sandy's turn to choose. This time Sandy has asked us to come up with a project which includes pearls or gems or both!
This time I have made a card, it is a 7x7 card blank to give me plenty of room to play with!
The paper was my starting point, it is from a set called 'Bronte' so mostly flowers and dittsie designs. I used a lilac plain card which I matted the flower paper on to then using the same lilac I cut out the backing plate for the Spellbinder fancy frame. I printed out the sentiment, used the centre oval from the SB set which I then matted on to a small piece of Graphic45 paper I had laying around, all of the above was lifted using glue gel.
I then gathered my flowers and leaves and attached them down. Then I added 3 gems on the bottom right corner and dotted others around the flowers and leaves.
Now it is your turn to join in and "bling it on".

#181 Nothing Flat at myshericrafts
Hi,
Wow that fortnight came round quick! I nearly wasn't ready!
Over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com it is DT sister Sarah's turn to choose the challenge theme and she has asked us all to my a project that is NOT flat.
I was going to make a box card but ran out of time and I had the start of this tag laying on my table so I thought I'd finish that as I needed it soon anyway.
The tag is 6inch long so plenty to play with. I first painted it black front and back and then took some papers from my Kaisercraft stash and started pasting them down. The lace is cotton so has great texture, then I cut out butterflies and images from the collectables from the Miss Empire kit and randomly placed them down. I added flowers and leaves along with that cute brass bee. Everything is on silicone so nothing is flat.
Now its your turn to play along but first take a look at what the rest of the girls have made. Please leave a comment so I know you've been.

Eclectic Ellapu Debut
Hi,
So here we go with my very first Design Team project over at www.eclecticellapu.blogspot.co.uk This month is Anything Goes. So I have made a birthday card for a very dear friend.
It is a 7x7 card blank, which I have matted on a piece of Kaisercrafts Treasured Moments paper but not before I distressed the edges. I then took a section of Ponder paper and die cut out the centre which I replaced but on foam pads and to fill the space behind I put the green which you see the sentiment printed on to.
Then out of my ribbon box I took some peachy/pink trim and fastened it to the back of the square. I stuck that down. Then I went about adding flowers and leaves to opposite corners. A few gems and the sentiment added and we were done.
I am looking forward to my time on the design team, so pop over and see what the other girls have done. This challenge runs for a month so I will see you back on 1st June but please pop back to see what else I get up to till then.
Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment I love to read them.
