Well today is the start of our new challenge over at my-besties-international-challenge. And we have
theme to play with for those like one or we are as always a anything goes challenge. The theme is Summer.
Summer to me always includes copious amounts of fresh English strawberries and lashings of thick cream (never mind the waistline lol). So when I saw this little cutie in the store I knew I had to use her. She is img666 found in the Etsy store I coloured her using my Promarker pens and Copics.
The card is a 6x6 bright white with mats of red and the beautiful strawberry paper by Maja Designs called Summertime-Taste-the-strawberries. Before I put this down I first stitched with red thread to the top and bottom and added green pearl beads to the bottom. I cut 4 small mats from Spellbinder dies to put under her one being the other side of the strawberry paper. I cut her "out" of the die for a change.
I printed the sentiment and matted that to match. I fussy cut a few strawberries and dotted them about and we are finished.
