JingleBelle a Christmas Bag

Hi,

Today I'd like to share with you a gift bag I made to join in with the girls over at Jinglebellesrock.

This time around we are using a photo for inspiration .   and here is what I have made to join in.

I took the orange, whites, rustic wood oh and the fluffy look of the stockings in mind when I came up with this design.
The bag I picked up at a craft store (pack of 4) and the large sentiment is from a Kaisercraft Christmas paper from last year, I matted that on to some White cardstock . Then I took some burnt orange mulberry paper from my stash (boy how old was this ??) and added that to the sentiment and then feathered the edge adding it to the bag with silicone glue for lift.
The two trees were gifted by Sandy and I thought they pulled in the tree from the photo for good measure. Then the Merry Christmas and don't open are from a set of stamps that I've had for years with no clue who they are by. I also added for good measure a few stars in bright white and orange.
So now I'll tuck this away till year end as I know who I'll be giving it to already!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sue.

  4. Ah very nice! Those stars and trees look really nice on your gift bag. I am pretty sure I have some mulberry paper around too. What type of silicon glue do you use? So instead of foam tape you use that? I am looking for something to use that is not as thick as foam tape and not flat either.

    1. Hello and thank you for your kind comment. I have tried many but my favourite is Pin Flair. It is not the cheapest but it has no silicon in it so no bad smell. It also dries crystal clear so even if it does show a little it won't if you know what I mean lol.
