Mothers Day in the US

Good day to all,
Over in the US they will soon be celebrating Mothers Day.

So at www.myshericrafts.com  design team member and good friend Sandy chose the theme for this 2 week period to be make a card for the mother in your life. Maybe she likes ribbons and roses or something more of a fun style.  Show us what she likes.

I chose to make this large A5 card.

I first embossed the checked back ground paper, then matted the blue flower paper on to white paper and left a small edge. I cut out using papers from the same pack 2 3x2.5 inch strips and matted those too on white. The one on the right I embossed and then heat embossed using sparkle powders.
I cut a strip of lace ribbon and so it showed up I wrapped it round some more white card first. I printed out the sentiment and used my GC to make several mats. I also cut out some flourishes one as you can see is in silver mirri . I added 5 lemon pearls as I think you may just be able to see the hint of lemon in the paper.
Thanks for stopping by today, I do hope you will continue along and see what the other design team members have made and then link up your own Mothers Day creation.
