So Perfect.

 Hello,

Today I'm sharing a project over on The Mad Scrapper Blog something a little different which I am sure you can all try if you haven't already. It is a layout in a embroidery hoop.

I have chosen to use a paper from the beautiful ARToptions-Plum Grove by 49andmarket along with a selection of flowers from the store (a full list can be found at the bottom of the page) and a few items from my stash.

I started by removing the inside hoop for another day and choosing the placement of the hoop on the page, in this case I wanted to keep the flowers to the left and include the large butterfly. The left side looked a little bare so I added a couple of rub-ons and an extra tiny butterfly.

The next photos show it finished but you can see I have added Laser cut lace on top of some beautiful deep real trim and then on top I added some plum lace I had. I then added a selection of flowers, pearls and other ephemera from 49andmarket.

I decided to cut the photo in a circle and mat it twice with foam between one layer.

I have had in my stash for years these tiny spools so I took a strip of paper and added it to it leaving a length free for me to add that perfect sentiment rub-on.

The next photo I couldn't resist in sharing with you of this darling little angel who is my cousins granddaughter.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to look at your stash in other ways enabling you to make a layout in a way other than 12x12.
Do check out all the beautiful papers and embellishments within this collection over at The Mad Scrapper  or if you are lucky and live close by pop in and see Janine herself.
