Happy Halloween

 Hello!

Here I am today sharing this cute Halloween Hanger for themadscrapper blog, I'm using one of those inexpensive ply pumpkin shapes which I picked up in a bargain shop for a £1.

I'm using papers and flowers from Thirty-one Collection by Prima Marketing.
Firstly I covered the stalk in black paint and then I tool the All-the-treats paper using the web side to cover the base. I sanded the edges once the glue was dry. Then I coloured some heavy-white-gesso with some gold acyclic paint and passed it through my finnabair-tapestry stencil in a few places.

Then I gathered some other bits together that I thought I may use. As you can see I cut a few ghosts from the hocus-pocus paper, a few bats using the blush-glitter card and some black from my stash. Also I found some feathers, cheesecloth and those cute jack-o-lanterns by Dusty Attic.

I gesso'd the jack-o-lanterns, a witches hat charm and a tassel top and when dry I added baby pink paint. I painted the stalks with gold and black paint. The tassel I made using the Hocus Pocus paper and a die.
The two papers I have chosen to use on their reverse side have jouraling cards and that is where I cut the October 31st and the Black Cat Boo! from. There are other images which can be used just as easy on cards or even gift bags.

The next 3 photos show close ups of the finished project.
Here you can see the beautiful flowers and yes those gold beads are in the centres! You can also see the tassel I made too.

Here you can see the black cat card which I matted on to another journal card with another under that shows the golden web which itself was matted on to black glitter card. All edges were distressed before sticking down. There's the witches hat too.

Another close up of the flowers but you can also see the pink and white pompoms I added as well as the pink flower gems and a few pink glitter glue drops. Other items used today were Nuvo Drops in white and black and some bakers twine too.

Thanks for stopping by today. I do hope you can spend some time and check out this collection along with many others instore or online at themadscrapper.co.uk.

Till next time, take care.

Sue.
