My Sheri Crafts first of the year

Hello again,

Well its that time again, yes the challenges have started over at www.myshericrafts.blogspot.com this year we open with a challenge from our leader Sheri herself.  Its so nice when she gets time to join in with us all.
Her challenge to us this time is to make a card which includes a snowflake or two. Now it hasn't got to be a Christmas card but I thought what the heck I'll get a head start so here is what I came up with.

This card uses a wonderful stamp I purchased last year just simply stamped in cranberry ink. I added one of my gifted snowflake diecuts to the edge. I just love that pom pom trim don't you?  A little heart button, gems and a Believe stamp and finished.

This card uses Kaisercraft papers and a Tim Holtz  Big Die. I trimmed the right edge of the card and placed red down on the back edge so it could be seen to draw your eye to the red in the berries.
The robin and sentiment are on one strip of paper which I cut up. I raised the robin and extra holly leaves and placed over the edge of the sentiment. The holly boarder strips are the bits at the bottom of a Kaisercraft sheet of paper (I keep all of mine) you never know when you need that little something to finish off a edge. Then I added the snow flakes. This card has a great feel and would be good for a guy I think, well my hubby liked it so that's always a good sign  lol.  Both cards are 6x6.

Please join in with all the fun and check out what all the other girls have made.

Happy New Year
Sue
