New Home...Soon

 Hello,

Today you find me sharing another layout for The Mad Scrapper Blog and it uses supplies from the store, a full list can be found bellow. Also a few items from my stash.

I started by taking a black sheet which I thought worked well with their T-Shirts and pulled out sheet 3 from travel diaries because it has that distress look which I wanted. I trimmed it down by half inch all around and distressed the edges then I decided to add some random stitching across the page this time because I knew I was going to add horizontal strips of paper.
I pulled out some old rub-ons to make up my title but after I finished I didn't like it so you will see I cover it up with a typed title which is matted on to the pink and then black.
I chose some other papers from the collection along with this pink which I love and I think it softens the layout somewhat. All papers are ripped and distressed before laying them down. The photo has a pale pink then black mat.

Once I added the new title block (which I think is much better) I pulled out some saved journaling pieces from Carta Bella and fussy cut them adding with foam strips. This set has a sticker sheet too so I pulled out some of them too.

This next photo really shares the info on their plot, as they are in America the plot is a huge 20 acres and they will be building a 5 bedroom bungalow. I am just hoping it will be ready when I visit next time.

The photo is taken in what will be the backyard, they are so excited and are just waiting for the building to start.
A few more stickers and journal card added and we are complete

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to look at your papers in different ways just because it says travel doesn't mean you can't use it for something else.
Pop in to see Janine to see if you can match a paper to your photos theme if not do as I do and go to The Mad Scrapper  and while away an hour or two.

Sue.
