Hi,
Another quick fortnight passes. That means its time for a new challenge over at myshericrafts.blogspot.com and this time its the turn of Raquel, she would like us to come up with a project that has atleast one tag on it. With Fathers Day approaching I'm thinking we may see a few more "guy" cards!
Here is what I've made,
As you can see I have chosen to make a birthday card. The card is a 6x6 which I removed a half inch strip from the front to allow you to see the back panel which I put a strip of paper matching that of the front.
I distressed the dotty paper before I placed it down. I covered a piece of kraft card with a small piece of material which I stitched down and frayed the edges adding it at a angle.
Then using various stamps and dies from Verve from their following sets I finished it off, also adding gems, brads, ribbon and Creative Expressions glue in pale yellow.
Thanks for stopping by today, come and join in the fun and link up your creation to try out for a guest designer spot. Check out what the rest of the DT have made too.

ReplyDeleteVery cool, Sue! Looks so classy!
ReplyDeleteSue, this is amazing! At first, I wasn't sure why that background paper seemed at bit off... upon closer inspection... it's fabric! I love it! I've never used fabric on a card and I most certainly have try it now. Love all the different textures and dimensions. Wonderful job!
