Fussy Cutting #173

Well its time to join in with another fun challenge over at and this time around it is Sarah's turn to choose and for me this couldn't be a better one. Sarah has chosen for us all to add some "fussy cutting" to our projects.

I just love to fussy cut, I attend a crop (when I can fit it in) held by Chrissy of and her layouts always include fussy cutting. So this layout was made at one of those last year.

This photo is of myself and my darling husband on our wedding day back in 1986!! All the flowers and leaves were cut out by hand and layered using silicon glue adding lots of depth
Here is the paper I used to cut up it is called Roses from the Secret Garden Collection.

Roses - Secret Garden Collection

Here is another page I made this week but using a photo from 2007 which my husband took when we visited Pisa and the leaning tower. The papers are from Michelle Collins, Kaisercraft and Unknown. The grey paper is cut at 10 inch sq of which you can see I gutted some to fussy cut the flowers along with the off cut. The photo I mounted on to the Rose paper but first I cut in to the design so the flowers would fall over the photo. I raised some of the extra cut flowers using Pinflare then added some black Stickles glue. The two sentiments are also from a Michelle Collins paper.

I hope you will now give your scissors a bit of an airing and join in with this great challenge.

Have fun and Happy Crafting
