This week over at www.myshericrafts.com design team member Peachy asked us to make a card or project to celebrate Native Americans and I had just the right set of stamps to use.
The stamps are from Rubbernecker and I bought them some time ago at a show after seeing them demonstrated by Sue Wilson who owns the company.
This first card I made using the clay pots stamp and little corner design. The pots I cut two out so I could add the reeds behind. The cream back ground is made using Sue's faux leather method which is simply ripping bits of masking tape and putting them down and them inking and clear embossing over it. It is quite effective in real life.
The card is a 5x7 tent fold and the other stamp is from Verve Stamps.
Triple wonderful creations. Like the faux leather technique. Made a card awhile ago using the technique.
