Happy Birthday Maisie.

Hello There!

Today I'd like to share this cute little card I have made for one of the younger members of my family. Who as you can see will be turning 2 this week!

As you can see I have made a 5x5 easel  card. I have used a selection of papers from winnie-celebrations-1-papers-1 along with some from my stash. The image is from Hobby House and there were 6 on one A4 sheet.
This little girl so reminds me of Maisie as she also has hair this colour and it won't be long before curls like her too.
I added different die cuts to the card linking in the theme and colours on the image. The die used behind the image is bubbleicious and its quite cute don't you think.

Well thanks for stopping by, hope you will be able to leave a word or two.

Christmas Mosaic

Hello,

Today over at digichoosday we are starting a new challenge and this week the design team have been asked to  1) Make a Christmas Card
                2) Make a Mosaic background
                3) Use Any Christmas Image
For you guys it is still a anything goes challenge.

So here we go, I have used 3 papers from Winni White Christmas Papers-3 cutting in to 1 3/4 inch squares then I matted on to dark green paper. I then cut a 5 6/8th piece of Winterland-digital-craft-papers in deep red and added each of the 9 squares to it, then I added it to the bright white card blank.
I added a sheer green ribbon to the edge with a cute knot. Then I opened up the Winnie Winterland Big Kahuna Bundle  and chose one of the design-sheets #4 . I used just one of the images on it (leaving other bits for another card) which I lifted using foam pads. I also used one of the many sentiments within the bundle too.
The kit is wonderful and jammed packed with everything you could possibly need to make amazing Christmas cards and Home Décor projects. There are quick and easy design sheets along with tags and frames too. Be sure to check it out when next in STORE

I added a little bit of holly and plenty tiny dots of perfect pearls in ruby to finish things off.

I hope you will be able to join us this week with your own creation, don't forget there is a super prize to be won along with 3 DT top pick prizes. You don't need to use Polkadoodles products but we do love to see them.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you can leave a word or two as its always nice to see who has been.

Card in a Box

Hi,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made recently for an order. I read from a crafty friend how difficult these cards in a box are to photograph and boy is she right!

The card is tall and fits inside a A5 envelope so the next photo shows it laying down.

The young guy as you can see is now 18 and is a very keen football fan of one of our top flight teams. So I kept it in their colours and added masculine sentiments and embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to say Hi!

Gifting Hearts.

Hi,

Today I'd love to share with you all this card I made using Tilda Blowing Hearts. I have coloured her in using Alcohol markers.

I have used a selection of papers from my stash along with 2 different lace and pretty flowers all from a selection of online stores. I have included a cork heart which my uncle gave me and a tiny tag with extra butterflies from the last bit of my Mintay-Birdsong paper pad.

The card was for an order and I believe it was well received.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can leave a comment as I enjoy seeing who has been.

Autumnal Graphic45 Tag

Hello,

I'd like to share with you all today a sweet little tag I made using up little pieces of Graphic45 paper that I couldn't throw away and I know you all know what I mean lol.

I just LOVE these papers (to be honest most of their papers) and even though there were only little snippets left I just had to make something with them.

Here you can see a little better the layering that I have added

the bottom flowers, the bird and a butterfly. The text has been added to the reverse side of the paper.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Fall Wreath

Hi All!

Well the leaves are turning brown here in my little corner of the UK which can only mean one thing and that is that Autumn/Fall is on its way!

So this week over at digichoosday we are coming up with our own autumn projects.  Today I have decided to make a small hanging wreath to go in my entrance hall. I have lots of handmade items in there such as wall quilts and the like.

Today I have used many elements from the autumn-fall-dig-colour-download This is packed full of wonderful images already coloured in. There is also a non-coloured version available albeit with less images.

First off I selected a wreath and added other elements to it along with extra bits around the page after resizing. I then set about fussy cutting both inside and out.

Once completed I inked around the edges (I hate to see white edges)

Then I needed a image for the centre and this time I used the adorable serenity-blossom image which I added to a sheet of distress-ink-papers-plain and then I coloured her in using Promarkers.

I then used the fanciful-circles to cut her out but to also cut out a frame for her to go behind and the wreath be added to the top. I also cut out lots of extra leaves etc and added those to the wreath

Here is a little side on so you can see the depth. I also added some dots of glitter glue and the twine to hang it.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can come on over and join in with the challenge for you all it is anything goes.

Christmas Mojo 521

Hello,

Today I’m joining in over at mojo-Monday albeit a bit late!! I've  had the post almost finished but I went away for a few days.

I managed to make 2 cards using the sketch, plus a couple of other not using it so I'm very happy as a couple more ready in the Christmas box.

For this first one I have used an image I've had a while by Wee Stamps and it come pre-coloured along with papers from my stash.

This next one uses papers and topper by Splash Crafts called Christmas Opulence.

It is so hard to take a good photo of shimmer card or gold foiling! But in real life they are beautiful and bright.
Here's the sketch if you'd like to use it.

Thanks for stopping by today, I will be joining in at the following blogs
craft-deebowz.september challenge.
