Spooky Party Invite

Hi There!

Time to start a new challenge over at digichoosday and today we are thinking ahead to that spooky time of the year Halloween 🦇. We could  use any image but had to make a invitation.

I've  used oddella-bow and coloured her in with Promarkers today. I've  also used a selection of sentiments from halloween-trick-or-treat-sentiments and papers from halloween-papers 3 .

Here is the inside under the flap.

I decided to make the invitation in the shape of a coffin out of black cardstock, covering it in the orange paper and inking around the edge. The flap is out of silver and covered in the green paper. I added the orange pompom to cheer it up and make it more fun. I added sequins and a few bats.

I do hope you can come over and play along with us.

Sue.

Christmas Tag

Good morning!

Today I’d like to share cute tag I have made using Sina-memory-box she can be found at Swedishhousecrafts
This is for the challenge over at Magnolia-licious challengeblog  For August. They also have a Facebook page too.

I chose to use one of my Doobadoo card shapes in a bell design. I covered it with the brown and teal dot paper from my stash adding a Christmas red doily along with one of the star diecuts from my Tonic Die. I also cut out 25th and a twig and poinsettia to add.

Here is the front view where you can see the image coloured in with my alcohol markers and then fussy cut out. The sentiment comes along with the image too and I added that to a little vellum before I added it.  The teal ribbon I made using the marker pen I used on her dress. Before I finished I added some dots of glitter glue in gold and red.

Will Miss You!

Ooh where is this year going too?

Another Tuesday which can only mean one thing, yes it's time to start a new challenge over at digichoosday and this we the DT have been asked to make a card for someone who is retiring. This one makes me smile because I retired but a month ago myself.

We could use any image but had to make it a card. For you guys it is still anything goes.

For this 6x6 card I have used 3 papers from the lovely helga-hippo-paper-heaven-2 popping them up and mounting on plain white. The image is ula-be-strong who I have coloured in using my Promarker's and Copic's. I fussy cut her out and added foam pads for lift. The sentiment is from winnie-celebrations-2 lots of lovely ones in this one. I added it to the typewriter because it could be for someone in the typing pool. The flowers are from my stash and the two paper roll flowers are made with paper from under her. To finish off I used some Nuvo drops in zesty green to pick up from the paper.

Thanks for stopping by today, I do hope you will join in with the challenge. I am joining in at the following:

Ship Ahoy!

Hi,
Just sharing a card for a little guy who loves all things Pirates.

This is a large 7x7 card which I have covered in this kraft & red paper which I've had in my stash for years with its label removed so I'm afraid I can't tell you who its by! I distressed the edges before adding it to the blank. I then took the wide cream and black ribbon through the centre.

The ships wheel paper is from a paper pad in The Range and I added that to some mustard cardstock,  then dotty paper by Kaisercraft I added to some blue. The scull and crossbones I fussy cut from a paper and added that along with and anchor, another ships wheel and some starfish.

The image is pirate-little-dude from Polkadoodles which I have coloured in using ProMarker pens. After cutting him out I added him to some deep red paper to tie all things together.

Cards I Love to Make.

Hi,

I'd like to share with you all a card I made for an order recently.

It's the sort I love to make (what ever you fancy Sue) as long as its adorable lol.

So with that in mind out came the Dutch Doobadoo shape art and loads of lovely papers Mintay-Birdsong I've used here along with lace, flowers and stamens all available from crafteezee.co.uk . The image I bought here too Magnolia with daisy.

I used a doily die and the heart banner to fill everything up. The only thing specified was it was to have Dearest Friend on it Oh and 40 too. All in all I was pleased with the outcome and hopefully it will be well received.
Thanks for stopping by again today, if you can leave a word or two. Its always nice to hear from you.
