Happy Days.

 Hello,

Today I am here on The Mad Scrapper Blog to share with you a simple family album layout. Family album layouts don't always have to be full on you just need to capture the moment.

Today I used a selection of papers by 49 and market, gems, sequins and a cutfile. I started by gutting the orange paper to allow use later on in the layout. On top of that I added the trimmed down and distressed edged Triumphant paper.

The cutfile was in white so I inked it with walnut stain and then backed with a selection of papers from the collection (a full list can be found below) I added foam tape below to lift it above the photo and to give some dimension to the layout.

The photo was trimmed slightly and then added to the other side of the orange paper and trimmed right back to give a tiny boarder, I also added a note book style edge under it and then it was then matted on to two mats on a jaunty angle. I took one of the journal tags to use under the first P and from the bottom I fussy cut the flower and word and placed it at the foot of the picture. Then I added my journaling

Then I finished off the layout with black gems and wood effect sequins from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to bring out some of those older photographs celebrating family get togethers. If you need papers remember to drop in to see Janine or take your time and visit The Mad Scrapper

Wishing You Love.

 Hello,

Today I'm up on  The Mad Scrapper Blog with this card I have made with a piece of beautiful paper I just couldn't waist. With a little bit of careful cutting you can possibly make something really pretty. I hope you think I have managed this here.

I started by taking a 5x7 card blank and then the 2 pieces of the paper I had kept and added them to the front, I then added cream lace to where I knew it would just pop out from behind the fussy cut element.

Here you can see how it just shows in this next photo.

The tiny rosebuds are a apricot colour so I took a stamp set which has coordinating dies and using spiced marmalade I inked it up and cut it out.

To finish off I added some dimensional glue in green and marmalade colours. I find the best way to add lace to projects is to use hot glue

Thanks for stopping by today, pop in to see Janine and check out all the delicious papers she has in stock if not go to The Mad Scrapper  and look at your pleasure.
