Casual Girl!

Hello,

Today I'd like to share a card I have made for a fun loving, clothes loving young lady turning 18!

I have made the card using a Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art. I cut a layer of floral written paper which I've had in my stash for over 10 years and thought I'd never use it lol. Then on to a white card I stamped one of the images from the All Dressed Up stamp set called "what's your style?". Along with the text next to her.

Using my Promarker pens I coloured her in. I cut 2 of her head and her handbag so I could pop them up using foam pads. The bag I added Glossy Accents to. I used the same template to cut it out and then I edged her using tiny stamps from the Polkadoodles Honey-daisy-clear-stamp-set  I stamped a flourish in green and added flowers, leaves, stamens and a denim blue hat pin to the left.
A diecut heart and the figures 18 were added and tucked behind the main piece. The Happy Birthday is by Verve Stamps and cut out using my faithful fancy-rectangles-tabs-die-set  The stand is a die by Tonic.

It's Cake Time!

Hello again,

Well it's Tuesday so that can only mean one thing! It's time to start a new challenge over at digichoosday and this week we had a challenge to use circles.

Here is what I came up with

Today I have used the darling pre-coloured digi image of Cutiepie-precoloured-lil-miss-sugarpops
along with papers from Helga hippo paper heaven-2-download  the sentiment is from winnie-celebrations-2-sentiments Oh and I used this wonderful birthday-wishes-cupcake which is FREE in the online shop.

I coloured the cupcake in using my Promarker Pens and added a little gem to the flower that sugarpops is holding. The card fits in to a 6x6 envelope and it rocks too.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have time to leave a word or two and then visit the other girls on the design team.

Autumn Wishes

Hello,

Today I'd like to share a card I have made using the lovely Pre-coloured nature-lover available instore at polkadoodles.co.uk

I have also used some elements from the autumn/fall coloured digi download There are some lovely things in this collection and whats great is you can re-size them all to fit your project.

I made this a 5x7 card and used shocking pink card along with some floral paper from my stash. I cut out the image using my fancy-rectangles-tabs-die-set  and made a frame with the two dies. I cut out a little tab too. To the paper flowers and leaves I added 2 silk flowers and a couple of other die cut leaves.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I will be joining in with a few challenges with this card.  craftysentiments/dies-and or-punches

Peek a Boo in fantasy land.

Hello again!

Today I'm sharing a tag I have made for this weeks Digichoosday #36Challenge . We were asked to think of fantasy and this is what I came up with.

For this I diecut a tag shape from a Bling bronze cardstock. I covered it with the greyish paper from Winnie-winterland-digital-craft-papers I did sponge a leaf design on to it and inked the edges first. Then I took several images from the cute Autumn/fall-colour digi-stamps download bundle which I stretched a bit before I was happy to print them. This is the beauty of digital images you can size them for your own crafty projects. Also all the images in this collection are coloured in.

I then printed out and coloured in with my markers helga-hippo-peek-a-boo-download isn't she adorable? I decided where she was going to stand and began to add the leaves, ferns and toadstools using both wet glue and foam pads for dimension.
Before I finished I added perfect pearls in pale green and charcoal and then I went around some images with a black pen. A little sheer ribbon in burgundy and olive green finished it all off.

I do hope you can join in with us this week as I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs.

I would like to join in the following challenges myself

The Icey Christmas Flower

Hello,

Today I'd like to share with you all the card I have made for the new ATG challenge starting today over at lilpatchofcraftyfriends.  This time around we have the wonderful Fredshesaid as our exclusive sponsor. They have so many different images to choose from both pre-coloured or not.

For my card I chose a pre-coloured image that is called Icey Christmas Flower on the sheet (which is only £1) you get enough to make 2 beautiful cards.

I decided to make an 5x5 easel card from bright white cardstock. I fancy cut the edge of the base with my Spellbinder die to mirror the petals. I covered the base and easel with paper from a Christmas paper stack. Next I cut from pale mint green glitter paper a stitched circle, the stopper bar and some poinsettia flowers. I also cut from white card the bar and larger poinsettia flowers. The bar I did a final mat on to navy blue to match the blue in the flower and on the paper.
Taking the image sheet, I hand cut the base scallop and wet glued it down then I cut the next layer using my stitched die and using foam pads I added it. Then you get 2 layers of the flower 1 with the leaves and the other just the flower. All were added using foam pads. I pinched the top petals and slightly offset it.
I added glitter glue and perfect pearls in pale blue, along with the pale green dazzler to the main image. Then to the stopper bar I added a Merry Christmas peel off to a mat of white and navy. I made up 3 flowers and added pale blue gems to each before hot gluing them to the front of the bar.

I'm sitting here in the evening typing this up with the card next to me and its twinkling away like mad, I think it will look pleasant on someones sideboard this Christmas. I love all the decorations and Christmas flowers that are in people's homes

I do hope you can join in the fun as the prize will be $10 gift card to spend in the store.  Please also remember the rule change of only 3 entrees per challenge now.

I'm entering in a few challenges

Thanks for calling in and remember to leave a word or two.
