Dream the dreams

 Hi,

Today I am up on the The Mad Scrapper Blog with this dreamy layout using papers from Uniquely Creative. Janine has a shortcut on the Shop by Brand link online so now you can find everything so much more easily.

I started as always by gathering a few papers and embellishments I thought I may use. As you can see I chose some daisies from a previous set but they are white so I coloured them in using inks to imitate the flower colours on the main paper. I pulled out some words from the Boho collection but in the end I chose the words printed on the manufacturing strip.

I started by cutting the Heart and Soul paper down to 11.5 and distressing the top and right side then I added it to the light side of the new sage colour in the Dressed in Daydreams solid collection (I did gut out the centre to use later) . Then I took the Daydreams Scallop base layer and cut  away one side then I cut between the scallops distressing the edges and added them down lifting the top part slightly for dimension. To hide where they join I cut out some circles. Then I took my photo which is off Pinterest and matted that on to the darker side of the sage paper and distressed its edges too. Using some light card under I added it on top of the petals covering halfway of that circle stack I made.

Then I started adding the daisies and leaves I was using to 4 areas around the photo.

I tucked in the little words I had cut mounting them on the light side of the sage paper.

To finish off the flowers I added clear enamel dots which picked up the flower colours also a few tiny rhinestones were added too to bring out the blue.

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to go over to The Mad Scrapper  and check out the new quick link. Uniquely Creative products are good I can not recommend them enough, the paper quality if first class.

Kindness in Bloom

Today I'm sharing a card I have made to join in with  November 2025 Challenge for Cardmakers & Scrapbookers! – Pinkfresh Studio This month it is all about Petals and Thanks.

I have used Scallop Glow cover plate with a coral cardstock on to a white A2 card blank. Then I cut out a notched rectangle frame in seaglass tucking a little vellum underneath to soften the space before adding my florals, sentiment and jewels.

Live Simply.

 Hello,

Today you find me on The Mad Scrapper Blog with this getting ready for winter layout! For this layout I have started with defiantly not a winter/christmas paper.

I took a sheet of Summer Porch in this gorgeous deep blue, I trimmed it and distressed the edges and attached it to a red with white spots paper which I found in my stash.
I started by adding embossing ink through the Geo Star stencil and added white powder. To be honest it didn't really take too well but I added some white pen to improve things. Then I added my photograph to a red mat and then on to white vellum which I tore the edges of and then I added a foam pad underneath. Once I had decided where it was going I added the rub-on to the bottom left.

Then I added the big geranium bloom which I saved off of a previous Summer Porch paper allowing it to hang off slightly. I also added two envelopes from the Peace and Joy ephemera pack from a few years ago. Then I added my photograph.

Then to make my flower cluster. I used a bus ticket first then a jumper both from Uniquely Creative but a year apart. I added an ivory flower with a leaf and a couple of tomato flowers, I tucked in a couple of gold and a red baubles oh and this little bird too.

On the opposite corner I added another bus ticket and two tags which I distressed the edges and tied some red floss to and added a Father Christmas on top.

I couldn't resist adding this Wonderful Life because I was thinking wouldn't it be wonderful to live in there.

This last photograph shows the flowers again with a glance at one of the butterflies I added with their Christmas wing designs. I also added some tiny snow flakes which I believe are actually shaker bits but they worked.

Thanks for stopping by today. Check out your stash to see if you have a paper you can use for a layout completely different to the theme of the collection. If not I know Janine has plenty. If you can't visit the bricks and mortar shop the sit back and go to The Mad Scrapper
