Halloween Sweet Treats
Hi,
It's reminder time over at Bestieschallenge. and we are still enjoying our theme of "spirits bright" which can either be for Christmas or Halloween! You can of course do your own thing as we are a Anything Goes challenge.
Here is what I have made,
I have used this cute little witch found here at the My Bestie Shop she is called Broom Hilda Boo there are lots of other image's there to choose from too.
I coloured her in using my Promarker Pens and matted her on to a Spellbinder mat. The greeting is from a sheet of Graphic45 paper and I added a couple of mini bats too.
The sweet treats are sitting in a little basket I saved from a gift which housed mini soaps. I painted it with mat black by Kaisercraft then added a Verve boarder strip. Then I added tiny dots of perfect pearls in orange, green and purple. Once dry I stuffed in some tissue paper and topped it off with a bag of M&S Halloween chocolate balls covered in foil with either pumpkin faces or eyeballs.
Thanks for stopping by again today, if you like what you've seen please leave me a comment. Don't forget there is still time to join in the fun and get your chance to bag a prize or two.

Welcome to the world
Hello,
Today I am sharing a New Baby card which I made for my friend to give her long awaited Grandson. He was born yesterday 8Lb 4oz and mother and son doing well. I didn't want to share till the happy event happened.
This card is a big A5 size in a bright white card base and on to that you can see I have added baby blue polka dots. Then I cut out that beautiful white frame. I used this fab stamp from Verve along with the cute Emery Plain Jane stamp which is on offer at the moment for under a $. As you can see I paper pieced him.
I stamped and cut out the baby in the basket and various other images from a Sue Willson die set called Pitter Patter. The addition of a few gems some lace, buttons and a bow and we were done.
My friend wrote her own verse for the inside of the card (something she likes to do) which was lovely.
Thanks for stopping by today, leave a word or two as its nice to know what you think.

Spirts Bright
Hello there,
Today I'd like to share a little card I made for my Mum this last Christmas. Yes I know it's well past but realized I never got to show it, so here goes. Also being the first of the month it is new challenge time over at Besties challenge blog and for the month of October we have a theme of "spirits bright" now this could be taken as Halloween spirits or Christmas so as you see I've gone for the later. You don't have to follow the theme as we are a "anything goes" challenge.
This cute card I made using a dusty pink card blank, adding this lovely dotted paper after I had stitched around the edges using the green thread. I put down a simple mat for her again picking up some green and I inked the edge of the top one with red. I used this darling Christmas-bestie-img380 which I coloured in using Promarker pens. I added her to a scalloped oval in a darker shade to pop her out.
Then to finish off I added a couple of Christmas trees which my friend Sandy sent me and a few snowflakes and the sentiment I printed out.
Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to share your makes with us as prizes can be won.

Still friends over at Besties International.
Hi, it's the 15th so time to show my reminder post for Besties challenge.blogspot.
We are still celebrating Friendship and today I decided to make a gift bag using this lovely image by Sherri Baldy img439 Well they look like friends don't they!
I just took a small kraft gift bag and covered with a thickish paper which i thought would give it some stability, the paper has gold swirls on it which looked quite Christmasy. To that I added a lime green banner by Verve on top of some gold mirri. The tag and its sentiment are also by Verve check out the store for all the wonderful stamp sets and dies.
I coloured the image in with my trusty Promarker pens and mounted it on to more gold mirri. Putting the rest together came quite easy, a cream doily first then some holly leaves then some floss and a beautiful crinkled red rose.
The gold Merry Christmas is one of the last 6 I have by Craftwork Cards and the "don't open" I've had for a while too, who by? I popped that on to some lime green too. Just to balance the bottom I added some ribbon which has gold stitching on it along with a dot of gold glitter in the centers.
Here is a closer look
There is still plenty of time to play along with us, as always anything goes but also a theme of Friendship this month.

Shape Card.
Hello,
Today I'd like to share a card I made for a friend to give her Grandson for his first birthday. This lady has just started ordering cards from me so I wanted to make sure I "wowed" her lol. I'm sorry the photo is so dark as the card isn't ! Just think pastel blues 😊.
I chose to make a shaped card as they are so different and never found in the shops over here. I used papers and card from my stash and a mixture of stamps and dies. Where I can there is a list at the bottom.
The card shape was made using a Dutch Doobadoo Shape-Art-A4-Square-2. found at NoorDesign! UK Shop Unfortunately out of stock as I type but other great shapes available.
Sue Wilson "pitter patter" die set.
Tim Holtz "scribble" heart die.
Sentiment stamp is from a new set over at shopverve. however I bought it as a single.
Crochet doilies are from merlyimpressions.co.uk which are on offer at the moment.
Other bits are from my stash such as buttons, sequins and thread.
Thanks for stopping by today.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges.
