Daisy Girl

 Hello,

Today I am over on The Mad Scrapper Blog with this beautiful layout using a photograph I took from Pinterest which I thought went very well with the gorgeous Botanical Buzz papers from 49 and Market last year.

I started with the main paper and cutting it down to 11.25 square and distressed the edges before adding it to the buttery yellow paper. The paper has so much on it already such as the hessian frame and lots of beautiful flowers.

Then I gathered bits and pieces I thought I'd use including a honeycomb die cut in 2 yellows plus a few of the bits that fell out. The bees are a old die I have and I thought they would be fun to add.

Then I took my photograph and matted it on to the yellow and a pale pink before adding it to a actual piece of hessian and under that is a foam layer, one piece so as not to mess about with foam pads. You can find this foam in the Kaisercraft  section and I'd advise you to buy some because it's great.

Here you can that I've tucked a honeycomb cut under and added some of the drop out pieces from the other yellow cut

This next photograph shows the bottom cluster of flowers which are made up from different 49 and market collections, Green Tara and Galina along with a pink daisy which she has on her hat. I also removed the brown stamens and replaced them with white which I felt was better for this layout

This photograph shows the top cluster which has the addition of some of the tickets and another daisy but this time a white one.

I'm really pleased with how this layout came out and I hope I have encouraged you to look elsewhere for photographs to go on a layout. I will let you in to a secret that this photo can easily be removed as it is only attached in the centre so my sister can get an up to date photo of her granddaughter this summer and she will have a ready made layout for it to go on to.
Thanks for stopping by again today please drop in to see Janine who will personally guide you around all the fabulous collections she has in, however if like me you live too far away then make a drink and scroll through The Mad Scrapper  pages I feel sure you will find something.

Sue.
