Hello,
Today I'd like to share a layout I made using the extra layout design by Chrissy at the Merly Impressions Crop held last November! Yes I know I'm terribly late with it but it's made never the less. I didn't use the papers from the kit, as I've not opened it yet but I used some from my stash.
The photo is of my son who had this taken in October 2015. We bought him a photo shoot for his birthday which provided many splendid photos this being one of them.
The layout uses Graphic45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe Collection, Core'dinations - burnt orange, Kaisercraft's 'Tarragon" paper from their Honey Chai Collection and some Liquid Pearls in pumpkin and avocado colours. As you can see I did a lot of stitching and inking, oh and plenty Fussy Cutting!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Remember This!
Hi there,
Today I'd like to share a layout I made on Saturday at the crop held by Chrissy of merly impressions. This layout uses the beautiful papers from the ubud-dreams collection by kaisercraft Chrissy gives you the kit of the day, which she has designed her self and away you go!
Here is what I came up with using a photo from 1996 of my son and hubby.
As always with a kit from Chrissy there will be lots of layers and loads of 'fussy cutting' which I enjoy.
Here is a closer look at all the flowers cut out and layered. 3 deep on some places. Lots of inking and stitching too.
Thanks for stopping by today.

4th Birthday at Besties International.
Hello again,
Here is my 3rd card made to celebrate the 4th birthday of the Besties International Challenge Blog . We are running as always with 'anything goes' but also a theme too. You have the chance to win prizes if you link up your creation to the site, so go on join in with us.
I made this 5x7 red card blank which I matted on to it a pretty floral paper but first I used my deckle edge scissors. I used Img 669 Big Eyed Bestie and she can be found here Etsy Sherri Baldy shop I coloured her in using Promarker pens and then I cut her out using my stitched edge die. Using co-ordinating coloured papers from the pens used I matted her on another 3 ovals putting one at an angle. I fussy cut out some flowers from the background paper and also added some sprigs too.
I used the heart banner and dotted the hearts about so as not to waste them. A little birthday message and we are done.
Please come and join in with us, the first prize is amazing.

Dear Santa....
Hello there,
Well today I'd like to share with you a card I made for my Mum to give her carers in the home she lives in in North Wales. There are a large team who do a wonderful job for the small number of residents in their care. So I made this 7x7 square card for them all.
The image I have used is 721 and it and many other beauties can be found here mybestiesshop.com . I took some beautiful Christmas paper by Kaisercraft and added some purple bakers twine, then I inked the edges with dusty concorde distress ink and attached it to the card blank.
I then cut out lots of poinsettia flowers in lilac and cream touching them with ink first, then layered them up. I also cut out of glitter paper snowflakes. I coloured her in using a mix of Promarkers and pens from Kaisercraft. I added her to 2 mats one being yellow/gold to match her slippers. The bingo card is from Kaisercraft too.
The merry Christmas is by Verve and the other I printed out myself.
Thanks for stopping by today, leave a few words as I always love to read what you think.

Colour it, create it, show it off.
Hello there,
I'm pleased to say that I was asked to join the design team of the monthly challenge blog over at coloritcreateitshowitoff.blogspot.com This is always an 'anything goes' challenge so I do hope you will be able to join in with us and hopefully win some prizes.
For my first card I am using an image I won from this challenge on their Facebook page.
This card is a 6x6 dark blue card blank with a fern tree paper added to it but not before I stitched 3 corners with a white & red embroidery thread picking up the colours in the mat for the image.
The sentiment and its mat are from Verve. The flowers were made using a stamp and die set which came with a magazine.
The cute little image is Little Dimples Im 922 I coloured her in using my Promarker pens adding a touch of glossy accents to the berries and baubles.
I do hope you will join in, leave a word or two to let me know you've stopped by.

Shabby Chic
Hello there,
Today I'd like to share a card I made for an order before Christmas. The brief was to be shabby chic or vintage. Think I managed both!
The card is a nice big A5 cream blank and on to that I matted this lovely shabby paper which I tore the edges before inking. I took a length of lace and wrapped that around before I attached the paper to the card.
The paper is double sided (more for your money I always think 😉) so I cut a strip to make a fishtail strip and added that along with another coordinating strip, but not before I inked and distressed them both.
Because there is grey in there I cut a flourish and some leaves. I fussy cut out some flowers from the main paper and added those along with some other from my stash and also purchased from Ribbon girl.
This online shop was new to me late last year, what a find. I added 2 pins and printed out my sentiment putting it behind a frame I cut from a Kaisercraft paper I bought from Merly Impressions.I am entering this card in the following challenges,

4th Year Birthday at My Besties International
Hello again.
Today I am sharing my second card for the birthday celebrations over at besties challenge.blogspot. it uses Twinkle Toe TROLLS Scan0039 .
This time I chose to make a 5x5 square card and I wanted to add lots of sparkle! So once I coloured her in I matted her on to lavender glitter card and then used the same for the sentiment, butterfly and base mat too. I used flowers from my stash but added the butter yellow flower once I had decided on the gingham paper.
Thanks again for stopping by, I will see you again in a few days.
